heheh, a note for your second play-through Vi, DON'T take the machine gun Although the upward propulsion is useful, it's not necessary, and you can trade the polar star for a number of different guns throughout the game, and the machine gun is only the second best one Oh, and don't trade it in at the next part if you do that, the snake sucks

Yeah, I read about that. But hey, it's all cool. It's still a freakin' sweet gun. I can't get over the music. It's so fun! X3

yeah, I prefer the spur, it's too hard to break the habit of not gathering experience for nemesis, but both are really useful in the black wind areas

Mm. In Labrynth right now. King's Sword is a pretty interesting little weapon. It's pretty weird at higher levels.

yeah, actually king's sword level 2 has the highest damage/time ratio of any weapon in the game. And it's easy to maintain since it doesn't take much to get out of level 1 and level 3 only has a 1 exp. point area, so it's great against larger bosses, particularly monster X (who you'll face next Vi )

oh... wow... you said yes to Sue's brother? >.> I did that once, then realized that it led to the bad ending and loaded back to the middle of the egg chamber cause I forgot to save near the end ahead of time >.> Honestly, that ending REALLY sucks... You can actually get the good ending even if you tell him you want to go with him, just run past him and climb up the wall spoilers if you haven't made it to any ending: oh well, a few notes for your second playthrough:
1. once again, try to trade your polar star for the spur (bring it back to the smithy, turns out he wasn't done with it it's not that difficult a climb back up there with either of the boosters ), best weapon in the game considering it works as a third level polar star at level 1, charges up by holding the fire button rather than by experience, and can fire large and extremely powerful lasers when charged through it's FOUR levels!
2*. try and save Curly! You can save her from the core room by picking up the tow rope before the fight (it's in the lower-right corner of the room before the fight, it disappears when the fight starts). You can then drain her of water in the little house through the flooded area after that, and carry her out. You'll lose her in the fight with ironhead, but you can find her in the plantation later (it's after you pass the area you stopped in). From there you can restore her memory by getting ma pignon from the top room of the graveyard, and learn your own character's name
3*: get the booster v.2.0! You can get a much more powerful jetpack from booster by simply skipping him over in the labyrinth (this takes a well-timed jump, that's all). You'll see him again the next time you're in the teleporter room and he'll give you his finished creation.
4: Nemesis... It's more powerful and has a better range than any other weapon in the game (besides maybe a fully charged spur) with one fatal drawback... for every 1 exp gained with it equipped, it levels DOWN and actually becomes LESS powerful. This makes a weapon that's easy to use, but VERY difficult to master
*: doing these lead to the secret ending, doing all of them will lead you to a much harder ending that you may not be ready for if you haven't gotten the good ending yet. Course you could always just ignore Curly's amnesia and continue to the normal ending, but hey, I'd rather be dead than in her state...
