Ok, main rule ladies and gents, no Vault 101 child unless we all vote to have one, and than, that'll be voted on who gets the honor (or sentence, if you think about it) This will be like a "what if FO3 never happened?" So everything is how it is when you start the game. Stuff that happened in game can still happen, but no Vault 101 dweller. I'll start this shin-dig off.

(Excuse my mis-spellings) Sergai "Volk" Khrushchev sat in Moriorty's saloon, a Pre-war hat on his head, wearing a Merc-charmer outfit. A bottle of Vodka in his hand, he seemed relaxed...or at least dead to the world. He was feeding his vice, but he didn't care. As long as it didn't come to bite him, and he planned to rest a little bit in the town of Megaton. That bomb did make him nervous though, but the vodka was taking care of that.

(Jesus, why isn't anyone else joining this?!)
"This place.. it's so much better than Big Town." A fairly young, but very dirty looking chap walked through the entrance to Megaton. He barely had any clothing on hand - just some dirty looking cloth around his body. He had some biker's goggles on his head, and a silenced 10mm strapped to his side. Looking around as he made his way into town, he was suddenly stopped by a very bearded man. Explaining why he was here, he was directed over to Moriorty's, where he took a seat in an empty stool.
When the bartender appeared, the boy nearly fell out of his seat. He had seen ghouls before, but not any working a a saloon! He quickly noted that everyone else seemed to think this was okay, so he just ordered a glass of water for the moment. He was too young to drink, after all, but he did need some information. The ghoul asked him for his name, noticing the shock in the boy's eyes when he first saw him. "I'm Bobby Flesch, but everyone just calls me Flake. I'm in town to look for some information.." He sounded like he wanted to say more, but he left it at that, for the moment.

(The Fallout universe is loosely based on what would happen in America if we were stuck in a 50's style setting after a nuclear fallout. Most of the world is a giant wasteland, Fallout 3 in particular takes place in the ruins of D.C.. Fallout 3 takes place in..2277. This link has some pretty basic info in there about the universe.)

Tempest entered the saloon behind the young man. "Gob," he yelled, "get me something to drink!" Tempest went and sat in the corner and, after pulling his knife out of his boot, began to sharpen the blade. "How was the trip," Gob asked. Tempest had just returned from a trip to investigate why Greyditch hadn't been trading with Megaton, and he was not looking so hot at the moment. "You see these burns," Tempest asked Gob pointing to the Blademaster Armor he had stolen from a raider's copse that he found, "The trip over there was easy, piece of cake, but once I got there I was attacked by ants. There were to many of them to fight so I began to run away, but then they began to shoot fire at me..." Tempest could tell by Gob's face, despite how hard it was for Gob to show emotion, the the Ghoul did not believe him.
"I'm serious Gob," Tempest assured his friend, "There are freakin' fire breathing ants in Grayditch! I didn't see any people there, which explains why they aren't trading, but I also didn't get to look threw any of the buildings." Tempest took a drink from the beer that Gob had brought him and stared at the wall for a second. "If we want to find out what happen we will need to get some snipers out there and take out those ants," Tempest concluded.
edit: (OCC: I wanted to but I couldn't think of what I wanted to post at the time.)

Volk listened carefully, his dirty blond hair laying softly around the bottom of his ears. Grayditch huh? Pulling up the lapels of his coat, he tried to remain inconspicuous as he hung on every word. Fire-breathing ants? He let out a chuckle as he heard the young man's sniper idea. HA! Patting his hip, he rolled his eyes. With a little bit of liquid strength, he and his trusty .44 could easilly clear the town out. Might make some decent caps. He pulled the brim of his hat down further, and listened.

Greyditch? I think I heard uh.. what's his name.. Three-Dog? Yeah, he's mentioned that place recently on the radio.. Forgetting about his troubles for now, he turned to the guy that had just stormed in, taking a sip of his water. He laid the caps on the counter top, as well as a very small tip for the ghoul.
"Beggin' your pardon, sir, but did I hears you right? Fire-breathin' ants? Sounds like you're foolin' a bit - but I guess them burn marks on your armor ain't from a flamethrower. Tell ya what, I ain't no gunslingin' sniper, but I reckon I can out run any of them ants. Set me down there, and I'll lure them all to an area where you and a group can take 'em out, right?" He had a rough accent to him, something you didn't hear too often around the DC area. And though he was young, he still had a pretty brave heart.

Volk ground his teeth. No way he was going to let someone else take his caps. Volk was another who had a strong accent not native to the DC area. Rising up, the dirty blond man calmly strolled over to the conversation, taking his Vodka bottle with him. His Russian accent was nearly as strong as the liquor in his bottle.
"I would not doubt such a strange sight occurring, my southern friend. I have seen many stranger sights myself. If there are some caps involved, I would gladly help." The Russian said, patting his hip. He had come a few years ago to America, after it was obvious Moscow was going nowhere. He had made a small boat, which didn't survive the journey. However, a piece of driftwood had carried him to shore, and he had been there ever since.
