www.nisamerica.com/news/PDFs/D3_PressRelease090706.pdfGood news: we have a date certain on the trophy update for Disgaea 3. Bad news: we're going to have to start from scratch all over again. I really wish that at least we could carry over some of the level info and at least not have to go into it from square one again. But, oh well, I think I know what I can do to be more efficient in getting back up, so in a year from know I might be able to get to where I am now, even further.

Whaaaaaaaat?! But my 400-500 hours...! Meh, this time, I'll make Asagi one of my best characters, instead of using custom characters with funny names like Char Aznable.

Ahem, my bad about the misinformation. Save data gets updated along with the update that enables trophies. As long as you don't load data that you backed up externally before the update, there should no problem with carrying over levels, items, upgrades, etc. when you update. You will have to kill the pirates again in order to get the trophies, but it's all good.
