Vulcanus rose from his bed, "Great another day of having to listen to Seraph Laminton ranting about being nice to demons," Vulcanus fumed. Vulcanus hated having to help demons. They wreaked and were disgusting and he didn't want anything to do with them. Vulcanus shivered at the thought of being near a demon.
"Fire," Vulcanus mumbled to light his fire place. "Next Vulcanus is going to have me let the humans do what ever they want. With out our aid that race would have died along time ago and he just wants me to let them go about their own business!? Most of them could barely tie their shoes with we were gone. "Ice," Vulcanus said putting out his fire. He stood up and began to head to the the outer edges of the city for his mandatory inspection of the troops, a duty which he loved since he got to spend time with angels.
Sydios was in a hurry to find a place to stay. His long stay in the wilderness had taken its toll on him. After what seemed like forever, though it was actually only 2 hours, Sydios stumbled upon a giant city. " I wasn't aware there were cities like this in Neverworlds..." Sydios said. As he approached the gate a winged demon walked out of the gate and began to talk with the troops. Sydios knew he wasn't in hell anymore...

A pair of angels carted a large, metallic object on a handtruck. They approached Vulcanus and stopped with their load. They bowed and one explained, "Master Vulcanus, we patrolled a certain area of the Netherworld in preparation for our plans when we caught this bizarre demon. We believe it contains valuable information about the area, but it has been beligerant, as is to be expected of a vile demon."
The "demon" clicked and whirred as it pronounced, "NEGATIVE! NEGATIVE! NEGATIVE! I AM NOT A DEMON! ERROR! ERROR! ERROR!"
The other angel whacked Thursday with the butt of its spear, irked at the loud, booming voice.

"That is Thursday, a human built robot you idiots," Vulcanus yelled. The overall knowledge of his angels seemed to be slipping. How could his hand picked troops not recognize this human creation? "Take him to my office and I will deal with him after I finish inspecting the guard's inspection." The appearance of this robot meant that Gordan and Jennifer would not be far behind.
Vulcanus' watched as the idiots took Thursday to his office. Unable to concentrate on the inspection Vulcanus let the rest of the angels slide on inspection, they were angels after all and thus set above every other being, and he went to his office.
Sydios saw his chance and walked up to the gate while the guards were distracted. The angels turned around and saw the demon in their midst with his staff out. "TRI BLAST GIGA STAR!" Sydios knocked out the three closest angels with his spell and other spells flying at the other angels before they could act. Sydios then walked through the gate and followed Vulcanus and Thursday.

Thursday scanned his surroundings, the readings were far different from those he picked up from either human or demon worlds. He began calculating this information against what was already in his database. Then a more familiar energy spike set of his sensors. The round automaton spun around and faced the direction of the magic attack.
"BEEP BEEP BLIP! ENERGY ATTACK DETECTED!"

"Vulcanus," on of the angels yelled, "the robot has detected an energy attack in the direction of the gates!"
By this time Sydios had slipped past the gates and was following the entourage of angels. "Oh great," he mumbled, "they will know I'm here now..."
"There are more than enough guards at the gates to handle what ever problem occurred. There is no reason for me to waste my time looking into it," Vulcanus declared. "If this robot can sense attacks it may be useful in monitoring our enemies' locations," Vulcanus thought as he began to form a plan in his head.
Sydios look a deep breath and was glad that his presence wouldn't be made know yet in the castle.

Thursday began putting the information about this strange world into his database, while his mission was in the Netherworld, he calculated that information about this world would be valuable for future reference. He studied how the angels reacted to the apparent assault, taking care to record the skirmish.
Thursday moved about to get a better view until he almost bumped into Vulcanus. He was unable to classify the readings he was getting from the angels, he was able to determine that this one was emitting the strongest among them. Curious, THursday asked, "BEEP, BEEP, BLIP, ARE YOU THE LEADER?"

"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TALK TO ME HUMAN CONTRAPTION!" As Vulcanus yelled at the creature the two angels restrained the robot. Vulcanus, the angels, and Thursday finally reach Vulcanus' lab and Vulcanus had the angels strap Thursday down and Vulcanus' sat opposite the robot. "Leave me with the robot," Vulcanus instructed the angels.
As the angels left Sydios tried to think of a way to sneak inside but to no avail. Going threw the main door would be to obvious and the windows were to high. "Wait!" Sydios said to himself, a little loader then was safe. Sydios jumped in the air, "Giga Wind!"

The lab of Vulcanus seemed oddly familiar, like the one of the rival, Kurtis. Any living organism would likely find walking around in a place such as this rather disquieting. However, Thursday paid little mind to the scary setting and calculated what his next actions should be. As sturdy as the restraints were, Thursday had ample strength to break them. But it may be best to not let these angels know that before he understood their intentions with him.
His internal mechanisms ran steady, as Thursday was unable to "panic" like living creatures. Still, he was apprehensive about being in an unknown environment without any kind of support.

"I know you could break through those restraints Thursday," Vulcanus said matter-of-factly. Vulcanus leaned back in his seat, to where he should have fallen but his wings were keeping him in the air, and looked up at the ceiling for a second then back at Thursday. "Thursday, I want your help. I know that we both have a common enemy in the demon-spawn that infect this universe and I want your help to exterminate them." Vulcanus had been looking for a way to eliminate the demons for a long time and this would be and easy way, and Laminton would have to know.
Sydios almost gasped when he heard the news. "The demons in my netherworld would never allow this to happen," Sydios muttered, more in his head then out loud, "I need these demons to get me home, and possibly to get an army behind me, so they can't die yet."

"IF DEMONS ARE A THREAT TO HUMANS, THEN IT WOULD BE STRATEGICALLY SOUND TO ELIMINATE," Thursday explained, "HOWEVER, MY DATABANKS HAVE NO INFORMATION ON DEMONS, COULD YOU SUPPLY DATA FOR FURTHER ASSESSMENT?"
The robot had no reason to really trust this angel, but to win over his confidence was a solid course of action. At the very least, he might gather information on this "overlord" which was intended to be defeated to protect mankind. Wiping out demons altogether sounded impractical, but the more data the better.
