Thought I'd try something really different from the characters I've played in the past.
Name: Skeith
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Race: Demonized Human (see bio)
Rank: F
Class/Monster: Rogue
Realm: Earth
Weapon Skills/Abilites/Magic: None so far
Vehicles (Makai Roleplay Only): N/A
Appearance: Typically, the only thing he does consistently is shave, but keeping his hair neat and wearing clothes that match are not part of his MO. He often wears a pair of sunglasses similar to those worn by characters in the Matrix (he claims it's a joke, but who can tell). Aside from his quirks and peculiar tastes, he looks like any other human.
Personality: Hedonistic and impulsive to a fault. He shuns hard work and will often give up or dump the load on someone else if he loses interest or requires more effort than he’s willing to exert. However, the thrill of the hunt can drive him to keep at a task beyond reason. Skeith has no sense of loyalty, and will often deceive others to get what he wants.
Biography: Some Apocryphal writings describe the admixing of humans with demons during humankind’s early history, resulting in every human today having a trace of the demonic in them. This may or may not be true, but to think that a handful of humans may have had a demonic ancestor in antiquity isn’t that much of a stretch. Such are the roots of Skeith, a lifelong ne’er-do-well who simply would not abide by the rules of human society. From his earliest years, he was a problem child who refused to behave in favor of his own pleasures. As he grew up he had a sense that he was different from his peers, but failed to connect this difference with his talent for stealing.
One day, Skeith got involved in an identity theft scam and was able to snag the information of General Carter. He soon afterward happened upon secret documents of the EDF which contained information on demons and their home planet, the Netherworld. Curious, Skeith decided to get involved in the intrigues and background drama of those involved in the hopes of getting to the Netherworld. He doesn’t know of his demonic roots, but he is eager to leave the human race and make his own way in the Netherworld.
Interests: Stealing, partying, gambling, drinking, smoking, and flipping up women’s skirts.
Vassals: None, and isn’t likely to get any.
Other: N/A
Reminisce Shoppe Items: Sulpher, Staff of Hope
Sample Roleplay:
The sparsely decorated room was lit solely by the screen of the laptop. The clicks of keys had a rythym like the scampering of the rats nearby. Skeith leaned back to peer out the window of the tenement building, though he had little to fear of police in the neighborhood, the criminal element was more dangerous. Ash from his cigarette fell on his face, and he almost knocked over his laptop as he fell to panic.
Once he regained his composure, he returned to the computer and his eyes scanned the documents he had stolen. He scratched his head, much of the language of the documents confused him, but certain keywords that kept showing up kept him intersted. "Demon", "Netherworld", "colonization"... Skeith then scratched himself elsewhere, "Why the hell would these squares want to live in a place like that? They'd never stand a world like that." However, the more Skeith read of the other world, the more appealing it sounded. He laughed, "I guess I should try to get there and live it up before those dickheads ruin it."
A bottle rolls along the ground and clinks against the wall. Skeith turns to find a lone, hagard man who seemed a little too out of it to notice Skeith. He closed the laptop and decided it would be a good idea to bail out anyway. Besides, the kinds of people he needed to meet wouldn't be in this bad neighborhood.
EDIT: That good?
