The screen suddenly flicked on to show that all-familar news desk... only it is in shambles, and with the screen appearantly broken. The stuffed bunny that was behind the desk appeared to be wearing some bandages that hint at many injuries.
"Iiit's Six o'clock, and time for the news! This is Newsanchor Usagi with a very, VERY belated broadcast. As you can see here, we weren't able to provide a news broadcast sooner. This was because of a drunken Baciel rampage that nearly tore this very station apart. It wasn't pretty, I tell you."
The rabbit cleared his throat. "..Enough rambling. Onto our first story."
A picture began to show, as if scribbled by a 10-year-old. It showed a beach with what looked like construction equipment, and a stage under construction. A sign was in the foreground, which read 'Coming Soon'.
"The annual Summer Solstice is coming soon. However, there have been delays in terms of getting a number of participants together for the event. These include Chefs, attendants, and others. If you'd like to participate, please visit the Attendance thread. If you ask me, it could be that Drake Carnival sponsor..." He muttered to himself on the last part.
Another picture showed, which looked like a rather dark and empty room. Only a table was shown via spotlight, occupied by two people in robes and wizard hats.
"The Reminisce roleplay section has been rather quiet as of late due to a lack of active RPs. Cases for this happening include then-active members suddenly leaving without notice, such as Overlord Sothmir and Achan. We hope that the newer members of this forum will be able to get it back up and running again.
"Unfortunately, that's it for this week's broadcast. We hope to come back with more news next week. In the meantime, be sure to submit anything particularily interesting you might have to us. Keep your fingers crossed, folks. If your submission manages to make it to our hardly-usable mailbox, it might make it into the next broadcast. Up next is the Netherworld TV premier of Transmutators..."
Usagi then paused, as he heard a backround voice. "What!? What do you mean we don't have that? Aw, for the love of--" The broadcast then cut off to static.
