The corner of Tenrielle's right eye twitched. Who did this girl think she was, .... well, besides a cherub. Ten and whatshername would be very fine in the Netherworld themselves, thankyouverymuch.
She bit the bottom of her lip and looked over the Seraph. He probably would allow this girl to go too. Well... look on the bright side - less chance of the demons sassing off when there's a full-fledged angel around. Even if she was in diguise.
"I agree with the Seraph," Tenrielle finally said. "Why would humans be hanging around the Netherworld?"

"Like I said... never been down there, myself. Just get what I hear from the other passing batallions."
Fatima thought she could add a couple extra Hel to the situation, but the Seraph knew what he was doing. She didn't even know what exactly they were going down there for anyway. Resting both arms behind her back, she sighed.
"I'll go where you lead, Master Lamington. Just adding suggestions while looking for the Prinnies that weren't around. Now that I know that they're busy with you, I can go ahead and take my leave if you want. You know the Netherworld better than I do. I shouldn't butt in..."
She was nonchalant and boardering on disrespectful with her attitude, but even growing up through here, she had little to do with manners. Though she had grown up considerably, there was still a lot to learn about how to treat situations and superiors, but she still held a respective feel to her actions, though one could tell she wanted to be the boss and conquer whatever the heck she was allowed to for the glory of God.
Maybe that was why she got stuck as the Prinny Warden and not one of the generals. Though she had the guts to think for herself, she was still immature and gun-happy.

Lenore remained mostly silent through the entire exchange, sipping her drink. Her eyes kept switching between the three angels more as if she were witnessing this conversation instead of being a part of it; and as was her nature she was constantly analyzing each and every person's little word, smallest action. Though she tried not to base her actions on her judgment of people, it was hard for her not to try and create a schematic of all those she met, especially when in less then favorable situation (which if the apparent tension was any indication, this was most certainly an unfavorable situation for some). It was just one of those things that had stayed with her from her previous occupation.
"Being demons might be difficult too, however," she spoke, deciding to chip in her own ideas, "though it would be more plausible in terms of appearance since we do not know the demon.....culture.." she used that word in an attempt to be diplomatic---though given her audience it was probably unnecessary (yet another carried on trait).
"Our actions and nature themselves would probably give hint that we aren't what we seem," she shrugged, "I think we can only play stupid so much."

The other angel had a point. It WOULD be hard to play a demon, but..
"I believe," she said aloud, "it can be done. Demons aren't as different as us. Sure they're uncouth and maybe a little dirty, but they can still feel love and pain and all the things we feel too."
Tenrielle said it with an air of authority. Even though she had never actually met a demon before, she fully believed in what she said. After all, that's what her parents taught her. And her parents were ALWAYS right.
"Or," she continued, "we can just say we're angels that somehow got lost on the way to Celestia. Or just be truthful and not discreet. I think that anything is better than being an oversized prinny, that's for sure."

Fatima wasn't supposed to be in on this mission, but it was obviously important. The Prinny trio behind her were playing "rock, paper, scissors" between themselves as Fatima looked up at the sky to think of a way to disguise these two.
"Maybe you should study up on demonic culture before going on with a plan. I'm sure you all might be able to get a peek at a few if you look outside the gate. Doing the gate patrols with some of the seasoned veterans there could give us a few ideas. It might even snag us... ah... you... some experience in fighting them too."
Lowering her hands from behind her head, she folded her arms for a moment.
"At least that part I can help with... I haven't had any real head-thumping time since I got the warden job. I'm bored out of my mind!"
"Even with us, dood?"
"No offense guys, but even when there's a break out, Prinny's are pushovers! All I gotta do is catch one and throw one."
"Head-bustin'! WHOOOOOO!" "Stuff it, d-d-dood! I like laundry! I'll stay with the laundry! Even the dirty dipers!"

Master Lamington listened to everyone, a calm look of thoughtfullness in his eyes.
"Do you really think that Prinnies are the only ones in that temple, Fatima?" Lamington inquired.
"Haven't seen anything else, sir."
"Be very aware, Fatima... that temple is a part of the prison as much as anything else. You were put there for more than Prinnies... though I appreciate your concern about allowing trainees for this mission, I must insist that you remain at your post... your idea about allowing them to watch at the gates, however, is a good one."
Fatima remained silent for a moment and bowed respectfully to Lamington.
"Yes, Master Lamington. I'll be on my way, since I know where the missing Prinnies are."
Master Lamington nodded and returned his attention to the trainees with a sigh. Fatima left the group with her Stooge Squad in tow.
"If you must know why I have chosen trainees, it is because many demons in the Netherworld can sense how powerful one is... sending someone as high as even a full-fledged angel would attract unwanted attention. It will be easier for you to get where you need to since few demons would see you as a threat."

"Of course, sir," Tenrielle concluded, watching Fatima leave. Once the angel was out of sight, she turned back to him. "I think we'll do just fine. Especially since you have faith in us."
She leaned back a little, her mind cluttered with thoughts. What WOULD be the best course of action for this? Dressed up as a demon? Just be themselves? Well, whatever.
"I'd really hate to dillydally... Our target needs this." She held up the letter. "So how do we get to the Netherworld?..."

"Indeed... Now let me see..."
The Seraph looked around in his robes for a moment and found what he was looking for under his sleeve.
"Ah yes... my old text book from when I was a trainee"
Dusting the tome off nonchalantly, he handed over the book to Tenrielle. The title read: Demons Though The Ages; by Sage Dante Machiavellio.
"This book was written by an ancient mystic who had traveled to all three realms; the human world, Celestia, and the Netherworld. He sought to catalog what might lie ahead of souls after death. He gives quite an accurate account on demons and angels of the time, and not much has changed through those millenia. Perhaps you may be able to come up with ideas on your disguise through that. The Prinnies in the Laundry Department can do many things with their tailoring skills."

"Ah, sweet. I mean - thanks, sir. This'll definitely be useful." Tenrielle glanced over at the other angel. "Let's do a quick scan-through and see what we can come up with, eh?"
She walked a few paces away from the Seraph, and placed the book down gently on the grass. With a plop, she lay on her belly and turned to the first page.

Ah! A book! Now this was what she was accustomed to. Her college years weren't all that far behind and even afterwards she always went straight to books when she was uncertain about what to do. Certainly not with her patients, but for little problems such has how to prepare a certain recipe, or when odd little questions popped into her head.
She bowed respectfully towards Lamington before following the younger looking girl and curling her legs beneath her. It was a rather heavy text, they probably wouldn't have much time to read it all if they wanted to get started on their mission quickly but whatever they could pick from it would certainly be useful.
Lenore read carefully over Tenrielle's shoulder, apt mind taking in as much detail as possible.
