It hadn't been too long since Flonne had come to know Laharl, an emotionless demon who, she was sure, was simply hiding his feelings. This is what she hoped, anyways. There was something about the demon's harsh demeanor that drew Flonne to him; indeed, it could be the angel's curiosity, but no one could really tell. She felt it strange, however, that she had aborted her mission so quickly; of course, Laharl's father was already dead, but Flonne had, right off the bat, created a new mission for herself.. Hopefully, this action wouldn't get her into too much trouble.
Flonne didn't exactly know where she was at the moment, she had recently been walking through what seemed to be some kind of woods.. It now seemed as if she were in some type of dark, open valley, not one of beautiful flowers, obviously. This was the Netherworld.

Richmond was taking a casual stroll through the Netherworld, which was not very unusual for an undead creature to do. The trees that still lived slowly wilted and died as he neared them, the ground was covered in a thin layer of frost. He was on his way back to the Krichevskoy Castle when he spotted a figure in the distance. She had long, flowing blonde hair that cascaded down most of her back, with a big blue bow resting upon her head. She was wearing the white garb of a holy woman, and sparkling blue eyes that glittered in the darkness. Richmond instantly recognized the figure as the angel Flonne.
"My, my, my..." he whispered to himself, "it ssseemsss...that we have a lossst...little angel..."
Richmond's obsessions began to return to him, the Nightmare's black robes began to billow slowly as he clenched and unclenched his skeletal hands. His hood veiled any facial expression, if he even had a face at all, yet, if there was one expression that was clear upon his face, it was love. A strange, subtle, yet blatant sort of love. He quickly made his way over to Flonne, the desire temporarily banishing the agony and sorrow inside his heart.
He moved like a creature from a horror film, with a great amount of speed that defied his appearance, until he was right in front of the angel, the aura of cold around him still ever prominent.
"Misssss...Flonne, I presssume...?" he inquired, his voice echoing through the forest, yet it was only a whisper. He stared into the eyes of Flonne and waited for her to speak, for he longed to hear her voice.

Long before the devil had spoken a single word, Flonne could sense something.. dark in the air accompanied by a chill; indeed, anybody would have been able to feel this but being an angel made the presence of a devil much more.. alarming, in a way. She had been somewhat spacing out, and Flonne hand't exactly noticed the creature become closer to her.. a slight gasp escaped her angelic lips as it approached her.. She mustn't let her guard down.
"Y..yes. That is I.." Her tone was careful, as she didn't know what this creature wanted with her; being in the Netherworld for the time she had been had taught her one thing: be wary of your surroundings. Not being able to exactly tell the race of this.. creature, Flonne curiously eyed it up, making it obvious that she was paying attention to the devil's build.. Hopefully, the creature wouldn't take it the wrong way.. As Flonne never seemed to have uncherubic intentions.
The night began to get colder, even more so than when the creature had first arrived.. A chill ran down Flonne's back as her focus directed back toward the creature's face, or where it should have been, anyways. It was apparent that she was intrigued by the creature.. She waited ever so patiently to hear the words come from his mouth so she could understand his purpose for approaching her..

Words became caught in Richmond's throat as he tried to speak once more, letting out a strange hiss. The Shadow awkwardly cleared his throat and tried to speak again.
"T-thisss...isss...a dark and terrifying place...M-misssss...Flonne....do you happen t-to...be...erm...lossst...? I would gladly help you find your way out...erm...or help you finisssh...whatever it isss...you are up to here...I know my way a-around this place...very well...it isss...where I come to relax" he said, keeping as still as possible, stuttering nervously on every other word. His breath was entirely visible now, coming out in small and quick plumes, yet his chest did not seem to rise or lower with his breathing.
He attempted to calm himself, bowing his head and allowing himself to relax, his skeletal hands unclenching, and his robes coming to a still. The cold increased once more...
Blast it! I forgot to introduce myself!
Richmond quickly straightened up again, his voice taking on the same nervous shyness as it did before. "I-I apologize...I neglected to introduce myssself...I...I am Richmond...demon in the ssservice...of the...K-krichevskoy Royal F-family...p-pleasssure...to meet you..." he said with a deep bow. He attempted to calm himself again, trying to avoid eye contact with Flonne for now, until he could set his bloody nerves straight.
