Hiroshi's mind was calm and focused as he trained outside with the wooden dummy's. Each one having a blue dot in different parts of the dummys stucture. These dot's represented a weak point, or deadly area to strike at a human or demon's body. He liked training daily, it gave him something to do and prepare himself for a battle or just to improve his skills.
As he finished his training he closed his eyes and jumped in the air, his figure covered the sun if anyone looked his direction above. He threw his shurikens, with blinding speed they spread out and cut throught the wooden dummys heads and on some were embedded deep into the wood. One went straight through the head and clinged to the tree.
After resting a bit he decided to head back to the weapon shop, he wanted to get his sword back from the upgrade he requested. Hiroshi approached the man at the shop, Is my weapon ready yet? he said almost like a demand.
The shop keeper quickly pulled out his sword from various items he had behind him. It was wrapped in a red cloth. He took the blade, examined it for a bit Very nice work, Ill be taking that bow too he said. The man handed him the bow after Hiroshi payed him the amount of hell. He then began to walk back to his house satisfied with his weapons.

They were a strange pair to walk beside, as each made quite the opposite amount of noise they were expected. The only commotion Drew made was a light jingling from her armor as she jogged up to stride beside Manik. After this, her padded feet folded silently around any twigs and rocks in her path, and her demonic need to walk only on her toes further quietened each step. She was a ghost over the earth, and Ka Sel may as well have been a bulldozer.
His feet were the roughness and texture of jagged stones. He was a giant cat, but without pads on his feet his weight crushed any sticks on the ground with a splintering crack.
And for the first time in a long time... neither had anything to say.

(1 hour later....XD)
As Manik looked down the very last part of the trail, he could hear voices and the occasional singing through the trees. He smiled, recognizing the sounds of his hometown. He cleared away some brush and twigs from the tree in front of him, and there it was. Holt Village, in all it's splendor. From here, he could see the Inn with the innkeeper standing outside, and the weapons shop, where someone was enjoying their training. Although, it did look from here that whoever WAS training had committed a major wooden dummy genocide.
"Yes, this is it. Holt Village. Feel free to look around. I'm sure you'll get along just fine., he said back to Ka Sel and Drew, trying to make them feel as comfortable as they possibly could.

As Hiroshi left the shop, his sword put up and bow behind his back he noticed three figures approaching the town. One was a demon which was a kind he had never seen, the other two were demons nonetheless, anyone could tell. Maybe they were here to try and attack, maybe not, a chill of excitement ran down his back at the thought of battle.
He stood there for a second and watched them, it didnt look like they meant any harm. "Hmph..oh well" he thought to himself. He wasn't the one for a happy greeting into this village, the others might do that. For now Hiroshi went back and collected all his shurikens and observe what business theses newcomers had here.

Ka Sel's pace sped to a quick trot as the town came into view. His feet were clattering on the stone below as a deep chuckle left him. Drew didn't respond to the puppy-like romping of her friend. She was busy gazing around at the scenery. Ka Sel's voice came out suddenly in a bark. "Holt! What a clever name for a small town."
Drew was more polite, and glanced tiredly to Manik while she shifted the weight of her armor on her hip. "Thank you. You've been great to us."
Ka Sel's loud steps could be heard a bit further in the distance as the creature loped to the nearest vendor. His jaw was moving rapidly as he spoke to her with vigor, seemingly already on the hunt for female company. One could tell from the way he licked his lips and grinned with every word.
Drew's pointed ears twitched once or twice in the new humidity of civilization, and eventually her sharpened senses brought her to squint with bewilderment at a distant, shadowy figure. She couldn't see him well, but the feeling of being watched was unshakeable. Conversationally, though, nothing had changed. Her attention was supposedly still with Manik though her eyes were elsewhere. "You needn't run off right away. Ka Sel will be busy for a while, and I'd like to have some company. Unless of course you're tired of us."

Manik, his attention broken away from the mysterious ninja-esqe man who had been training, turned his head toward Drew. "You needn't run off right away. Ka Sel will be busy for a while, and I'd like to have some company. Unless of course you're tired of us." Manik smiled at the comment. From what Ka Sel said, she wasn't talkative. So why did she want HIS company? Heh, oh well. "No no, I'm not tired of you two yet. You both seem like a rather interesting bunch.", he said, grinning.
Although he needed new equipment, he figured that he could get it later. Drew seemed like an interesting character herself, and Ka Sel was just a kooky nut, he figured. It would be nice to spent some time with other people besides himself for once in a while. Believe it or not, but Drew was more talkative than most people he knew around the village. The people he spent his time with most of the time either spoke in old proverbs, or nothing at all.
"So...what were you and Ka Sel up to before I came along?, he asked Drew, sitting on a nearby log.

Drew's armor rang out as if in pain at being dropped so quickly as she untied the string that held it to her without thought. She was eager for a real rest, and the invitation from Manik to sit was irresistable to her. She fell heavily down onto the log at his side and immediately began stretching out her tired feet in front of her to relieve the tension that lay in them. She was worn out.
She really didn't talk to people this comfortably unless there was reason, and the reason this time was simply that she felt like she wasn't being manipulated for once. Constantly being tricked conversationally by a demonic creature could lead anyone to break old habits, and so finally sitting down and exchanging words with another person with no underlying impish goal was refreshing, to say the very least.
"Ka Sel got chased out of the last town we were in," Drew grunted in a strained breath as she pulled her arms into awkward positions to release pressure gathered in her stiffened joints. Whether this was a sincere motion, or just an attempt at making her rather grave words more casual really couldn't be told at this point. She continued with a joking air in her voice. "You? Training, exploring...? You seem the type for that kind of thing, if you don't mind me saying."

Manik closed his eyes at Drew's comment. "Ka Sel got chased out of the last town we were in," Well, it did seem like he was quite the troublemaker, even around women. But that's how most demons are anyways, he figured. "Yes...he seems quite the troublemaker., he said with a casual sigh, leaning back a bit to crack his back. Dammit, he needed to quit that habit. It was going to give him arthritis one of these days.
He then fired another response her way from the question she asked. "Well...people call it training...and I can see why...but it's more like a lifelong exorcism.", he said, closing his eyes again. He thought about just how appropriate that comment was to the situation. Yes, it really WAS more like an exorcism than training, because training meant taking a break once in a while. He looked toward her again, now with curiosity. "So why have you been going with Ka Sel? It seems like he gives you his fair share of problems. Nothing against him, but you just seem like the kind of person who like to go it alone.", he asked.

Hiroshi couldnt' help but notice that they sat where he sat sometimes to think or just have a good view at night. He really didnt care, its not like that log was his property. He overheard their conversation, it had looked like trouble did come to some of them. Hiroshi casually walked over to there direction.
Well it seems that your new here, what business do you have? he asked rather curiously. He twirled his throwing stars in his fingers, circleing around over and over. If its trouble you bring, I wont think twice on taking you down he said with malice in his eye. Its not cause I love the village but its for my own home, I could care less about these cursed fools he said overloooking the village. Hiroshi then threw the stars at the tree, he didnt want to walk around with these anyway and if they decided to fight, he probably wouldnt need them.

Drew, of course, was immediately struck with vast respect for the ninja. Casually tossing about throwing knives could hardly have a different effect on the girl so entranced with fighting skill. Her ears quirked, her whiskers bristled, and on the back of her head, her quills lifted gently where they lay. It was a display of a curious mix of attraction and sheer terror, and it of course made her look absolutely ridiculous.
She was on her feet in an instant, nervously wringing her hands and grinning as she compulsively began moving towards the struck trees to retrieve the knives, rather like a dog, speaking all the while in a hurried tone. "No! No, we won't start trouble. We're here to restock on food and supplies, perhaps sleep here the night before moving on. Ka Sel and I. He's with the vendors. He's a, ah..." she stopped in her tracks to make a gesture meaning 'waist high' before rambling on and snatching at the knives in the trunk beside her. "A Balam. No trouble at all. He's good with kids."
Manik was no longer in her thoughts as she stumbled forward towards the new man, holding out the knives with an expectant expression like a child hoping to be praised. Her head suddenly tilted onto its side, and her real conversational intention was thrust out in the open with a few words. "Would you happen to know Ninjutsu, sir?"
