Bleach - Outbreak
After the kidnap of Orohime, Ichigo and the others found themselves upon a rescue mission to save her from The Espada's plan to use her powers in attempts to return the Hogyoku to it's former state. However, with the intrusion of Seireitei, the Espada began to drop off like flies after being defeated numerous of times, until the Shinigami were put to a stop by Halibel, her Fraccion, and Stark.
They would force the Shinigami to retreat from Las Noches, and sadly along the way they would lose Orohime. However, with the Shinigami reinforcements that were no doubt arriving anytime soon, it would be useless to paint Las Dias a more lively color-- crimson red. Aizen himself retreated the Espada to an unknown Fortress before making a hasty act, disappearing in seemingly one night.
With no lead on where he ran off to, the Shinigami had no choice but to return to Seireitei-- only to find it preoccupied by the Espada. It would seem that Aizen had created a few more Arrancar with the Hogyoku, and whilst Gotei 13's prime officers were within Hueco Mundo, he used this chance to force the Gates open; in which they raided the Court. The 1st Division captain would fight equally with Aizen for quite some time, only until a certain Ulquiorra got involved-- attacking the Commander-General in the back.
This would no doubt put an end to Yamamoto. With the current Divisions in a weakened state, Aizen planned to further his plans until confronted by Unknown unseated officers of the divisions; whom showed equal power as the Espada. Along with these unforeseen events, the Vaizard aswell had arrived shockingly to aid Ichigo-- to make sure he didn't die, and push Aizen and his men out of Seireitei. While the Espada held no further casualties other than a few unimportant arrancar, Seireitei would once more need to rebuild quickly.
A new 1st Division captain was placed whom began by putting many of the current captains on reserve-- and placing new shinigami whom were yet to be known upon the captain seats. Many of the Vice Captains found this infuriating-- and instead of going with the plans a civil war broke out within Seireitei almost instantly after Aizen had left to Hueco Mundo. However, many of the current Division captains and Vice Commanders-- aswell as seated and unseated officers found themselves quickly and easily put down, and it seemed that the time for change was in need.
Now with no quarrels as to who would be captain-- the new Commander-General would begin major changes within Seireitei-- most effecting the Rukongai Districts aswell. Many of the Souls began to lean in favor of the new changes made by the Sotaicho, while many of the old shinigami officers leaned away. The darkest secret about such was that the Sotaicho had formed a truce with Aizen, giving an estimated of one hundred years before the next battle. It was agreed-- both sides having plenty time to replenish troops, and grow stronger.
As for the Humans, they would not live for those one hundred years-- however their offspring would no doubt carry on for them. The Quincy had regained some power-- and new clans members, and the Kurosaki was a shinigami family placed in Karakura Town. Ichigo and Orohime had quite the offspring, however not all were blessed with great shinigami talent. Some were stronger than others, or others were seemingly non-existant. The years passed, and so did the truce timelimit.
During this time all Espada positions were filled with new members, and the Gotei 13 was replenished aswell with new troops and captains, while the older captains played the backfield. At the hitting of One Hundred Years, the Espada would move to Tokyo City-- attempting to lure out the Shinigami into a fight. They would respond, and the battle would begin shortly.
