Two original monster skills, $2,500 each, $5,000 total. Both of these are for Grendel.
First Skill
Name: Parasitic Embrace
Who can use it: Any Mothman that is excessively violent.
What it does: Using all four of his claws, Grendel will latch himself onto the enemy, whether it be by dive-bombing them, running into them, sneaking behind them, ect. Once attatched, Grendel will smother the enemy with his wings, coating them in thick layers of poisoned dust. Once the enemy is unable to resist, Grendel will bury his teeth into the neck of his opponent and start sucking their blood. However, what can make this attack especially dangerous is the choice to devour the soul (life energy) of the opponent. Regardless of what is absorbed, the Mothman's life energy will either be refueled or temporarily invigorated. This attack is very, very fatal.
Advantages-Fatal on a single enemy, even if it much more powerful than the Mothman is. Absorbation of the soul can end the life of even a greater demon, and the blood draining is a twisted way of replenishing health.
Weaknesses-Only can be used upon a single opponent, soul drain is ineffective against undead enemies. During this attack, Grendel is completely and utterly focused upon the target, therefore, is open to attack. And the fact that Grendel must latch himself onto an opponent and knock him out before this can even commence. Creatures that are resistant to poison or have no need to breathe (golems, ect.) are also able to stop this attack before it even starts.
$5,000 hell to learn.

Second Skill
Name: Hades Beam
Who can use it: Winged Warriors of Messenger Rank or higher.
What it does: Grendel's eyes glow a bit more brightly than usual. Using this to his advantage, Grendel can magnify this energy and focus it into two powerful, destructive beams of star energy. This is a marvelous air-raid attack, as it can be done while moving, with perfect vision and accuracy. The area(s) of impact are at first stable, but after several seconds, will explode from built up energy trying to escape from the ground. If so desired, Grendel can cross the beams and make them combine into a larger, more powerful beam that can hit multiple enemies in a thick line. This option cannot be maintained as long as the primary attack, and of course, if launched at the ground, will not create a follow-up explosion. The centre energy is crimson in colour, the outer energy is orange, giving it a firey look, despite this not being a fire-element attack.
Advantages-Has the option of being a quick, aerial attack that does decent structural damage, or a powerful destructive force. Can be used while moving, and while the beam is being fired, Grendel can still see perfectly. Good for taking out multiple opponents.
Disadvantages-The quick attack's main source of damage (the explosion) can be avoided somewhat easily if the opponent moves from the explosion area quickly enough. Being directly hit by the quick beam does very little damage unless under sustained contact. The larger beam takes two rounds to use (at least two non-consecutive posts, the original charging post, any post made between that, then, the attack post.) Quicker enemies, if they know the attack is coming, can get out of the area effected without too much difficulty.
