"Bah, you're trying too hard!" He could only yell out as he saw Miria assault the demon. Gripping his chest, he ran over to the girl panting on the ground, as the demon was about to fall. The demon had a confused look on his face; more so surprised than scared that he was just killed. Mudell rushed as fast as he could in order to try and pull Miria away from the demon, but realized he wouldn't be fast enough. Stopping right in front of his, he did one quick slash with his sword as the demon fell, putting all of his strength into it as he did so. What he produced was a bloody mess, but a demon that fell on both of his sides.
Falling to his knees, he leaned back, looking up at the sky. "Geez... I never knew poison could be so harmful. Ah, if only I had some rice.." And then from the trees, and group of demons appeared. They closed in on the duo, but Mudell had no strength to move. Opening back up his eyes, he suddenly realized he recognized a face. "Enzer? Leave it... to you.. to run fr.. from a fight.."
Mudell passed out, but not before the demon sprinkled some dust on the warrior. "He'll be asleep for now, but he should wake up eventually. In anycase, I owe the both of you for saving my spot to setup my stand! That demon wanted to setup a hibachi stand here... I wasn't going to allow that! Good thing Mudell here came along. He'd never stand to not be able to eat some rice, hahaha!!"
In an instant, the rest of the demons built up a shack of sorts, the type of thing that might take half a day or so, in a minute. One of them picked Mudell up and propped him up onto a stool, and offered another stool for Miria to sit on. Before them were placed two huge bowls of food - except Mudell's had enough rice to feed an entire army. The smell caused him to wake up, and before he said anything, he was scarfing rice down his throat.

As Mudell fell to his knees, Miria heaved herself up in a sitting position. ”I wouldn't have to try so hard if certain idiots didn't try so hard to get killed...” she told him, casually. Seems like the threat was over for now, the only thing still to be dealt with would be the poison in Mudell's body, which Miria reckoned could be fixed with a simple heal spell. She'd wait a bit before she did anything though, it might be fun to see him suffer a little... that thought brought a smile to Miria's face.
Suddenly a bunch of demons came out of the woods, which made Miria tense up. She was in no condition to fight, and neither was Mudell. Well maybe if she healed him, but that would deprive her of her fun... what a problem... Miria decided that the best course of action here would be to sit perfectly still, maybe they could only see motion or something. Her fears were dispelled however, when Mudell addressed one of them as Ezner, the supposed owner of the shop that supposedly was located here. The demon seemed to throw sand at Mudell, who then passed out. ...The Sandman? I'm starting to wonder if my briefing about this place was totally inaccurate...
When the demon came over to her and... explained the situation, if you want to be generous, Miria got back up on her legs, although somewhat shaky. “That you owe us seems to be an understatement, I expect you to payback in full, and you may start with collecting all the swords I've used this battle, and if any of them seem dull, don't be afraid to go sharpen it.” Miria spoke in a superior voice, annoyed that she herself had been forced to be directly involved in the battle. She turned to the newly built shack, and when offered a seat, she gladly took it.
She was surprised to see that Mudell quickly recovered from his state of unconsciousness as soon as food had been placed before him, but she just shrugged, after what had happened today, she figured that things like that might not be very unnatural at all around here. She started on her own food, as the battle had made her rather hungry, she hadn't eaten anything since this morning after all. “...This is good...” she mumbled to herself, as she tasted the food. Perhaps not worthy of eating in an uncivilized brute like Mudell, but it was good food nonetheless. Since things seemed to have finally calmed down, Miria figured she'd do some investigation whilst eating. “Hey, Mudell, how did you end up in this place anyway?”

It took him only a few minutes to devour his food, but it was more than satisfying for him. "Phew! Don't eat for three days, and this is the result..." He patted his belly, and drank some tea that was placed before him. "Well, leave it to Enzer to go and take advantage of his most loyal customer. Well, I guess I got a meal out of it, so that's okay with me!"
Rubbing his stomach still, he turned over to Miria, whom he had forgotten was still there. He then scratched the bottom of his chin, tilting his head sideways a bit. "How'd I end up here... huh. To put it bluntly, I'm just trying to follow the trail of certain people. They were last heard of around here but.. that was maybe a year ago. I've not found any clues yet, so I'm pretty much stuck around here."
Another bowl of food was placed before him, but he took his time eating this one. Chewing on the rice for a while, he stared at his sword which was propped up on the side of him, standing on the floor. Putting his chopsticks down, he turned over to the sword, picking it up, and inspecting it for a while.
"If you mean the Netherworld in general... I don't really know, actually. I had left my home years ago, and next thing I knew, I was in a world ran by demons. Weird, huh? I never really questioned it at all. Which brings me to my question. What're you doing here. Humans normally aren't from around here, plus you seem to have some agenda. Just curious, really."

Miria couldn't believe this guy... he just... happened to be here, and didn't even bother to find out why... what amazing carelessness. “I see... that's... not very useful information at all.” she told him, deciding to be honest. She had hoped that he would know of some way for her to get back to Earth, but from what he had told her... that didn't seem very likely. As far as his personal reason for being in this area, she didn't care at all, it wasn't related to her in the slightest, and was thus unimportant. Although, the fact that he did have a goal might pose an issue for her own plans for the guy.
She finished her food as well, and picked up the cup of tea, this is where her acting skills would come into play. “As far as myself goes...” She took a sip of the tea, trying to build up some tension. “Oh, I suppose I can't tell you. My superiors would probably be mad...” she tried to sound honestly sorry, but failed miserably, and it sounded more like she was being sarcastic. She was silent for a while once again, the killer move would have to be delivered expertly. “Unless...” she let the word hang in the air for a while. There was no way anyone could resist the possibilities of 'unless', Miria was sure. She had Mudell right in her palm...

"Ah, well, we can't have you getting in trouble with your superiors now, can we?" Mudell then just sat there, finishing off his rice, with their awkward silence. Honestly, he had a feeling that she wanted to ask him something else, but he didn't want to be bothered with it right away. It had been a while since he had felt the cold hand of defeat, and he didn't feel too confidant in himself.
Finishing his food, he picked up his sword and hopped off of the stool, turning back to Enzer and Miria. "I'll be outside, I need some fresh air." Once out of the little shop shack, he sat down on one of the benches the demons built, surveying the area. The minions were busy re-sharpening Miria's blades back to perfection, and lining them all up for her to take once she was ready. He had brought his cup of tea out and took a sip from it, looking at the sun setting in the horizon.
Why am I still here? The Prism Rangers... They would never set foot in a place like this, Maybe I should head home.. who knows how mom and dad are doing. Who would've thought I'd ever miss them.. Looking back behind him at the shop, he knew he had found out why he never left this place,or even searched for a reason why. In the Netherworld, he was actually more at home than anywhere else. Well, I wonder what Miria wanted..

Miria stared wide eyed as Mudell got up and left the table. “Wha- but... I... how...” she stammered, although it didn't seem like anyone else but her heard it. ...To resist 'unless'... what amazing strength! Miria stared at Mudell as he exited the building, she couldn't believe what had just happened, she had been sure that everything would go the way she had planned, it became obvious that she had underestimated the mental strength of Mudell. However, if he wasn't going to give in easily, she just had to keep up the assault, she had far more devastating and terrifying attacks up her sleeve than the one she had just used.
She silently left the table, intending to sneak up on Mudell from behind. She spotted him sitting on one of the benches outside. He seemed to be thinking about something, a feat she couldn't recall him even coming close to at all the last few hours. Alright, the enemy is weak... STRIKE! She dashed towards Mudell, intending to make use of her alluring powers as a woman, she turned on the waterworks. Or at least she thought she did, instead her face just froze in a mask of indifference. “Please Mudell, you must help me!” she pleaded, trying her best to sound as lonely and vulnerable as possible. Alright! Moe! You got this, Miria!

Er.. why does she look so funny. Oh well, she seems distressed enough as it is. Might as well hear her out, now. Patting the piece of bench next to him, scooting over to make room for her. He placed his sword tip down into the ground. Resting his right hand on the sword handle, he made it appear as though it were a cane, but more so for a man of stature rather than someone who couldn't walk without it.
"Alright, let's hear what you have to say, then. A hero's work is never over, especially when it comes to damsels in distress!"

[OoC: We'd be delighted to have you join us.]
Thinking that her plan had been a success, Miria dropped the 'theatrics' and regained what she thought was an honorable voice and pose, as she sat down next to Mudell. She cleared her throat, thinking it'd make her look more serious, and not look like a total idiot like it mostly did when people cleared their throats before talking. “It is simple. I am new to the place, and I have no idea where I am, and even if I did, I'd have no idea where I should go, so, I'd like you to become my companion” Slave “and aid me in my travels, if that is fine with you.” She looked at Mudell seriously, considering he had resisted her 'unless' previously, perhaps he needed further convincing... well, since the tears seemed to have work, she should probably keep pushing that. “You know I have ten kids at home who would be very sad if their mother died. They'd definitely blame you if that happened.”
