OK, my OC happens to be one I port around everywhere (and while still keeping it all within a single train of canon!) courtesy of her being able to reincarnate when certain conditions are met (her having a 'red soul' -- of course, her condition is to 'die fighting', so she usually has active life).
Because of this, she's naturally picked up all sorts of bizarre weaponry -- some of which she has kept with her, or that likes to follow her about. Here are a few of them.
Little Lunacies: A pair of daggers, illustrated here in singular, which basically do more damage under moonlight (hence the name, though as shown by my rather old decription that's only part of the story behind their name).
Lunatic Design: A pair of giant scissors, they're basically what happens when the Little Lunacies fuse together somehow. The scissor blades are golden, as are the outer parts of the handle, with the part where the two loops meet being patterned like the handles of the Little Lunacies (it even comes together as two halves of a single handle). Under moonlight, the whole thing glows with a red aura so thick it could be cut with a knife . . . or used to cut like one. As would be surmised by the 'handle' formed when the scissors are closed, the weapon is meant to not only act as a pair of scissors, but to also be able to be wielded like a sword. And it is, handily.
Caduceus: A pair of full-arm gauntlets with gold and carbon designs reminiscent of spikes and sharp edges, the gauntlets are large and give the impression that she has just put on a pair of diabolical claws -- which isn't far-fetched, they're actually meant to improve her arm strength and basically make her capable of doing much more than a normal human being. Why, occasionally Caduceus, being an alchemical design, reacts and generates new forms, such as the three-clawed 'Caduceus-D' (for 'Duke', it being inspired by a certain sword-clawed Digimon from Season 5), the golden 'Caduceus-E' (for 'Electric' -- they generate and conduct electricity at a remarkable rate, even able to act as defibrillators), the ice-cold 'Caduceus-F' (which generates a freezing mist), the superheated 'Caduceus-M' (for 'Magma', inspired by the arms of Flammole the Moleroid of MMZX fame -- pin pulls out, slams back in to launch a sharp jet of flame meant to blow holes in even metal), and the 'Caduceus-P' (for 'Power' -- this form looks like a more orange Caduceus, but has the capacity to charge up energy and discharge it).
Paracelsus: A little less ambitious, these are merely gauntlets of a dark design which go up to the elbow and have the capacity to perform three techniques: 'Crunch', wherein she reaches out with a grabbing motion and five spikes of energy close in on a point ahead of her in much the same way (also said to be like jaws closing -- and nearly as painful); 'Clear!', wherein she rubs her palms together to generate a charge, and then by planting both palms on the victim's chest, well . . . guess what happens when you defibrillate a properly-working heart?; and 'Heady Crisis', wherein she grips the victim's head tightly in both hands, and electrical charges are sent into their brain, trapping them in a phantasmal dreamscape (and all through the power of science!*) until their mind overloads and they 'cry blood' as their brain literally has a Critical Existance Failure.
(*Consider, if you will, that electrical stimulation of the brain has been known to be able to prompt things like muscle movement, decrease in nervous tics [electroshock therapy, for example], and so much more -- then consider that the brain's waking state and sleeping state are both punctuated by their own unique activity, and if I remember correctly certain triggers can be hit to cause someone to fall asleep -- from there, it's easy to assume that you can cause someone to hallucinate in complete physical paralysis through electrical shock. From there, it's a simple matter of overtaxing the brain and . . . pow. 'Heady Crisis'.)
Avenger Brand Expanding Shuriken: Bought in packs of 10 via an extradimensional catalog (yes, I have weird fiction, so sue me), they're basically shuriken that start out palm-sized, but by pressing a button in the center they quickly unfold to manhole-cover-size. Ornate, and with a bit of gold trim to them when unfolded, they're actually quite far-flying and if thrown forcibly enough will easily embed in stone (they're not made for power, but light weight and durability -- the power is in the user's arm). That said, Marrowchan has a knack for making them careen, career, ricochet and bounce off of surfaces like crazy -- in fact, that's the main draw of her favorite skill 'Kandayo Panic'**.
(** Named for a Level 3X Anniversary Claw weapon from MapleStory -- note that Claws are used to throw Shuriken, and there is a skill called Avenger involving an expanding shuriken; yes, it was wholly inspired by MapleStory, even though Mar is a Bandit.)
With those in mind . . . which weapon(s) should I give Marrowchan for roleplay on Disgaea Reminisce? Caduceus and Paracelsus can easily be put in as character-unique skills, as can Little Lunacies, while it would be possible to use sword skills with Lunatic Design (which would simply be Little Lunacies by another shape, so to speak).
Input (and critique) is much desired, but keep in mind: not every version of Marrowchan has had these, nor has any one of them had all at one time (that would just be sue-ish). I only break them out when the setting can support it (or would encourage such a weapon -- e.g., giving Marrowchan 'Little Lunacies' on a .hack forum [Twin Blades]).
So again, I'd like to hear your input~! ^_^
