Sora sat on a small bench in Radiant Gardens, his head down in thought. Organization XIII was defeated, the Heartless had disappeared, and all was well. Sora knew he should be happy! But with Donald and Goofy back at the castle, it felt to quiet. Kairi was at school at the moment, and Riku was off exploring the town. So the hero was all alone at the moment. The worlds were still connected, and Sora was considering visiting some of his old friends, but for now, he just sat, looking at his shoes. Sora sighed, bored. Maybe he should try to go to the school. Kairi had been bothering him ab- Interrupting his thoughts, a shadow darted below his feet, startling the hero to his feet. A Heartless!? Impossible! He started running, following the direction the Shadow had run off to, turning the corner and running strait into Leon's chest. Falling back, Sora scrambled back to his feet, looking around.
"Sora? What's the hurry?" The man said calmly, raising an eyebrow at Sora's hectic movements.
"Leon! Did you just see a Shadow!?"
"Yes, Sora, I did. But they're pretty common, you're casting a shadow to."
"No, I mean a Shadow Heartless!" Sora's eyes were a mix of desperation, hope, and worry.
"Heartless?"
"Yeah! I saw a shadow run by under my feet."
"Maybe you're just seeing things Sora. You haven't adapted well to this calmness. In any case, there's no Heartless here."
"I could've sworn..." Sora said quietly.
"Going crazy Sora?" Riku asked, approaching from behind Sora.
"Shut up Riku." Sora said good-naturedly, trying to get his mind off the shadow he knew he saw.
"Come on, Kairi should be getting out of school soon, let's go meet her." Riku turned around, starting to walk away.
"All right." Sora nodded, following him. Leon crossed his arms, sighing.
"Is it happening?" Aeris asked, walking up behind him.
"I think so. Merlin was right."
"He usually is." Aeris said softly, walking beside Leon.
"Yeah, I was really hoping he wasn't this time."
" 'And with the return of the shadows, the Dark shall fight, and the sage shall resurrect the fallen thirteen.' " Aeris recited the end of the prophecy that Merlin had told them. "Looks like the shadows have returned after all."
"Now, we have to find Yen Sid, and make sure he doesn't do anything risky." Leon said. Aeris nodded.
"Mmhmm. Should we tell Sora?"
"No. We'll let him keep thinking he's just seeing things. So long as the Heartless that appear are just Shadows, or weak creatures like that, we can handle it." Leon looked over his shoulder at where the Shadow Sora had seen had fallen.
Meanwhile, Riku and Sora raced towards the school where Kairi went during the day. Neither of the young men had wanted to start now, where as Kairi had been going for three years.
"Hey, Riku!" Sora called, panting as his breath came short.
"Giving up Sora?" Riku panted back, both out of breath.
"Stop for a minute, I need to ask you something privately." Sora stopped, hands going to his knees as he panted. Riku stopped a little ahead of him.
"What?"
"Did you..." Sora bit his lip, questioning himself for asking. "Did you see any Heartless around here?"
"Heartless?" Riku rose an eyebrow. "Sora, don't be crazy. Heartless in Radiant Gardens? Of course not."
"I thought not. But I could've sworn..."
"Hey guys!" Kairi called, running from the group of her school-mates to her friends. She was still in uniform, but she grinned wildly none the less. "What's up?"
"Nothin'." Riku said cooly.
"Hey, ya know what I was thinking about?" Kairi said, looking to the two.
"What's that?" Sora asked.
"I havn't been in the castle for ages! We should totally go there today! You know they say it's haunted..."
"Haunted?" Riku blinked, than grinned. "Kairi, you've been listening to ghost stories again haven't you?"
"So!?" Kairi put her hands on her hips. "What's your point?"
"What do you mean haunted?" Sora asked.
"Well, you know how they've been trying to restore the castle?" Both boys nodded, it was a well known fact. "Well, for some reason, everytime a worker goes into the library, he dissapears! Only to be found a week later in the chasm, with a different injury every time. They stopped working now. They say it's the ghost of Maleficent!"
"No way." Riku chuckled.
"C'mon Kairi, ghosts?" Sora grinned.
"C'mon Sora, Heartless?" She rose her eyebrow, grinning back. Who'd belive heartless if they didn't see them themselves? Sora was silent. "So, ya guys wanna go?"
"Sure." Riku shrugged.
"Why not?" Sora added.
Later that day, Kairi, Sora, and Riku walked through the castle that was Hallow Bastion, until Kairi stopped them in the library.
"Wow, I'd forgotten how big this room was!" Kairi said excitedly. Riku chuckled, folding his arms.
"Indeed." A dark, new voice came. Sora and Riku jumped to attention, ready to fight, as a young looking man came from the corridors of books. He looked roughly nineteen, and he was dressed in a black coat, brushing the floor when he stepped, He wore a black shirt, and black pants. On his feet were black shoes, tapping gently every step, near silently. He had medium length silver hair, falling to his shoulders, a little longer than Riku's hair and two small gold hoop earrings, gripping the mans right ear. On his right hand was a ring, but the top was facing down as he held a book. The man's eyes held a strange aloofness to them, as if he were watching through someone else's eyes.
"Who're you?" Sora asked.
"The ghost!" Kairi yelped, but the man ignored her.
"I am the one who maintains this library, this is my home. The question is, who are you?" He asked, his voice even and quiet.
"I'm Sora."
"Riku."
"And I'm Kairi."
"How long have you been living here?" Sora asked.
"Somewhere in the area of a year." The man said, turning. "During which I have poured over these books, and completed every one of them." He turned raising his arms, as if to showcase the library. "Truly fascinating." The mans strange eye's glimmered. "The amount of knowlage in this room, from the amount of different ages." He shook his head, turning to the three. He chuckled. "I feel like I've become a sage." He shook his head "I apologize, what may I do for you?"
"We're just taking a walk down memory lane, that's all. Hey, have you seen any workers in here?" Kairi spoke up. "Or anything weird?"
"No...Why would I?"
"No reason!" She grinned. "So, why haven't we seen you in town? Don't you buy food?" Kairi asked.
"I have my ways." He responded simply.
"You never told us your name." Sora spoke up.
"I..." The man was quiet. "I suppose you can call me Sage."
"You're name's Sage?" Sora asked.
"No, He's just having us call him Sage." Riku told him.
"Well Mr.Sage, it was nice meeting you," Kairi nodded her head. "Let's go gu-" Kairi suddenly gasped. "Sora!" She pointed suddenly. Where she pointed, a Knight Heartless was fighting a Dusk Nobody, and losing by the looks of it.
"Stand back!" Sora told her, the Keyblade coming to hand. Sora looked to Riku, who's keyblade had appeared in his hand, and nodded. The both of them dashed at the Heratless and Nobody, when suddenly-
Meanwhile, at Yen Sid's tower, Aeris sat in a chair as Leon stood, speaking to the old man.
"I'm going to what?" Yen Sid asked, unsure if he had heard right.
"According to Merlin's prophecy, you're going to revive 'The Fallen Thirteen.' Whatever that means. We're here to stop you." Yen Sid put a hand to his chin deep in thought.
"Who are the Fallen Thirteen?"
"We don't know." Aeris admitted. "But judging by how Merlin said it, we don't want to know."
"And how do you intend to stop me? Not that I intend to ressurect the Thirteen, but should I try, you'll use violence?"
"Of course not!" Aeris exclaimed.
"Not if we don't have to." Leon corrected. "But if it comes down to it. Yes." He lied.
"...Well, that doesn't matter, as I don't plan on trying anything today."
"Well, we'll just make sure of that tha-"
"Ugh!" Aeris suddenly clutched over her heart, her eyes clenching.
"Aeris?"
"What's wrong?" Leon asked, falling to her side.
"Leon...I think...we were wrong..."
Sora went to attack the Nobody, Riku right behind him, when from between the two, an ice ball struck the Nobody. But the strange thing was that the ice ball was electrified, and instantly killed the Nobody when it struck. The Knight looked at Sora and Riku, finally noticing them, and ran towards them. Riku and Sora both went to strike the wounded Heartless, but both of their blades were stopped by Sage. The keyblades striking the mans arms, neither doing any damage. The Knight ran into Sage's coat, hiding behind his leg as he looked out to the two keyblade masters.
"Glorious." Sage said slowly. "Two of the Keyblade Masters in my home at the same time." He looked up to the two, both standing infront of Kairi protectivly now.
"Why isn't that heartless attacking him?" Sora asked.
"I donno." Kairi responded. "It looks like it's hiding behind him. I'm more curious of why he protected it, or what that spell was."
"Simple." Riku mumbled in an unshaking voice, eyes hard. Sage closed the book in his hand, gently setting it down on a nearby table, his ring now visable. His ring had a mid-sized sapphire mounted in it, with the Heartless crest on it. "He's a Heartless." Kairi gasped and Sora looked over to Riku.
"You sure!?"
"Yes." Sage confirmed, tapping the Knight and walking forewards, the Knight staying under Sage's coat the entire time. Searching through the books with his pointer finger out, skimming through the titles. Soon enough, he selected a very large black book. Opening the huge book, he flipped through a few pages, stopping about a third through it. His eyes came back to Sora and Riku, both still ready to fight.
"I am the Guardian of the Heartless, you are invading on my home as have the "workers" before you, and you both have killed my kind, and I will not have it. Now, I understand that you have been attacked, so you have exactly three seconds to leave my home before I destroy you all." Has he said this, his hands began to glow, charging a fire spell. Which one, neither Riku nor Sora could say.
"We're not going anywhere!" Sora challenged, dropping into his fighting stance.
"Sora, wait."
"What is it Kairi?" Sora blinked, looking back.
"Wait a moment..." Sage said slowly, his eyes looking away. "Kairi...Princess Kairi? How could I have not seen it before?"
"Princess?" Sora blinked, than it came back to him. Kairi was one of the Seven Princesses of Heart! "Yes, she's a Princess." Riku stayed in fighting stance, but Sora now stood up strait.
"...Hey..." Sage tapped the Knight, and the little creature looked up to Sage. "Go fetch me K-32-6 please." The Knight looked to Sora, Riku and Kairi. "Will you harm him in any way if he doesn't attack you?"
"Of course not." Sora shook his head, but he kept his hold on the keyblade, tight.
"You'll be safe. Please?" The Knight took another look to Sora, than to Sage. He than nodded, and scampered off deeper into the library.
"Explain yourself." Riku commanded. "What's the Heartless doing here?"
"I am simply living and studying, until of course, you humans came and attempted to kill me. As for the little ones, they do nothing wrong. They stave off the desire to claim hearts, the need. For fear they'll be killed by "masters" such as yourselves. We do nothing wrong, we are simply hunters, who, when left alone, feed only as we need. You are uppity pray." Sora dropped back into a fighting stance, and Riku stepped forewards, but Kairi held his arm. "But, no matter, I personally enjoy working for my food. Survival of the fittest and all. But, do your credit, humans do have fascinating books." He turned his back to the group, running his fingers across the books. "And a facinating history." A small clanking came to their ears. "The Husks, however, the Nobody you saw, I don't know. I don't allow husks in my home." Sora and Riku exchanged worried glances. If he didn't know about the Nobodies... "But, that's for another time." The knight ran back, holding a book narly as large as Sora's head, struggling to hold it up. Sage closed his tome, placing it on the same table as his last book, than moved them both to the seat at the table. He than put the large book on the table, opening it up, flipping through the pages, until he was nearly three-fourths of the way through it. He suddenly put his finger on the book. "Here we are."
"Wha-?" Sora blinked, leaning forewards.
" 'Every seventh generation, they will be born again; The Seven Princesses of Heart: Snow White, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Alice, Jasmine, and Kairi. And the Keyblade shall awaken to Seven Gaurdians of Heart's decendants, so that they may be always protected from the darkness. The King, however, shall live for all eternity, relinquishing his life into the curse of agelessness for the good of the worlds. Should a link be born between the two, the link shall bear the mark, and the mark shall show the worlds fates hang in the balance. The King must than gather The Hero, The Dark, The Link, The Seeker, The Traitor, and The Fallen. The Seeker shall have to seek for himself, and shadows and specters of the past shall face them and the worlds shall quake, for the results shall determine their fates.' " The Heartless read from the large book, looking up to Kairi. "So, Princess Kairi, it seems you play an integral role, and you must be, if I'm not mistaken, the Hero." Sage regarded Sora. "The King is obvious. The question becomes than, who are the other five?" He crossed his arms.
"Does it matter? It doesn't come down to it untill this 'Link' shows up." Riku huffed.
"It has." Sage told him, shooting an angry look. "According to some of these books."
"Books, books, books! None of it has any proof. Tell me Heartless, do you beleive everything you read?"
"Do you descredit everyhting you don't see boy?" Riku bristled.
"Of course not!"
"Than silence."
"Why you..."
"Riku, calm down..." Kairi whispered.
"It's in the diary of the last Princess Kairi... She says that she had broken the rules set by The King, and had a child-"
"Ok, now your just making no sense. Why would King Micky tell the Princesses not to have children, and for that matter, if he said that, how would the generations continue?" Riku challenged, pulling away from Kairi.
"You, boy, need to shut your mouth and listen!" The Heartless snarled, slamming his hand into the table, startling the three. "Now, if you would silence yourself before I silence you."
"I'd love to see you try!"
"Riku! Mr. Sage! Stop! Please, Riku, let him finish."
"After this boy... But, to continue, Princess Kairi broke the rules set by The King by having a child with one of the Gaurdians. I don't have the entire diary, so, I don't know who, but that union birthed the link beween the Gaurdians and the Princesses, a Princess of the Heart that is a Gaurdian, a keyblade weilder. The Princess, Princess Kairi, is you."
"I'm...The Link? But I don't "Bear any mark." So, it can't be me." Sage flipped through the book some more, beckoning Kairi over. Riku's grip tightened on the keyblade, but he didn't move. Kairi approached him, and looked where he was pointed. In the picture, a rough looking infinte sign was seen. "I...do have a birthmark like that." Her hand went to her side, just above her ribs.
"Princess, you are The Link. This is going to happen. Now," He turned, his back to them. "Princess, Hero, you may stay. You two of you have killed Heartless, sadly, but I have heard the situation. They were driven mad by hunger, and fear, and being controlled by the Husks. The boy will leave."
"And what if I don't?"
"Riku, don't antagonize him." Sora chided.
"Nah, we'll go." Kairi said, turning, and walking ahead. "C'mon guys. Let's leave him alone. He's not hurting anyone."
"I'll tell the workers what's going on." Sora promised.
"Will you ask them if they can just leave my home alone?"
"They just want to make the town like it was."
"Well, this is a castle, not much of a use for a castle if people just want to have it. According to the records in here, this castle was ment only for the young woman who stands before me, Princess Kairi, so, the only one I'll allow living in this castle is her."
"Th-This Castle is mine? Bu-But I'd have to live here by myself?"
"Not at all. The Heartless and I reside here."
"I thought Heartless were all just..." Sora thought for a moment, putting a finger to his lip. "Er. Instinctual creatures."
"You mean evil."
"No! No, er.."
"I don't take offence. Many do see my kind as mindless killers. But, as I said, the smaller ones who are incapable of speech aren't mindless. As for we more advanced..." Sage chuckled. "I think I'm far from mindless." Sage began walking away, "Princess, stay as long as you like. Hero, you may stay for the day. Boy, I'm going say this once. Get out of my-"
"Wait right there!" Kairi exclaimed, stopping Sage in his tracks. "This is MY castle, right?" Sage nodded. "Than it's my say-so who stays or goes. Riku can stay. And stop calling him boy!"
"...Well, If you are taking command, Princess, than I suppose I had best be respectful." Sage turned, his body falling into a bow as he did. "I humbly request that I and my brothers reside here, and that you keep this castle in its current state." Kairi blinked, a heartless...bowing to her?
"Er, I'll..uh, see what I can do." Kairi said, unsure of what to say or do now. The three turned and left, Riku glaring at Sage over his shoulder.
"Why don't you like him?" Kairi asked. "He seems nice."
"He's a heartless. I don't trust him"
"Hey, the two of us had turned into heartless at one point or another, and we- Well, I was still normal. You were a psychopath." Sora ribbed, putting his hands on the back of his head.
"Shut up Sora." Riku's voice rang out to Sage as he walked away.
"They seem quite nice, for murderers eh?" Sage looked down to the Knight. The knight moved infront of Sage, looking ready to fight. "What's wrong?"
"He senses me." Riku walked in from deeper in the library from the opposite side, now wearing all white, a white tank top and white jeans, and even white shoes. His hair was now black as well. "Hello Sage."
"Boy!? No, wait...You..."
"I'm his "Husk", as you so nicely put it." Riku's Nobody said calmly. "I am Kurix."
"You are also tresspassing. Get out of my home."
"Relax my wise friend." Kurix said, walking past him, looking through the large book, "I am more friendly than those three whom just left. I do not murder Heartless."
"Am I to belive that?"
"Ask your friends, they have seen me, and they have left unscathed."
"...." Kurix was right. Heartless had told him they'd encountered the man in all white, and he'd been friendly. "So than, Husk, what do you want?'"
"To help the Heartless. I feel for them, and I feel we could a mutually benaficial partnership. Those three you just let leave have all killed Heartless, the silver haired boy that looks like me and the other boy alone have killed more than countless, and the girl feels such hatred towards them, it's truly shocking."
"And why would a husk help a heartless? What's in it for you?"
"Nothing at all. I just don't like them, and, unlike that weakling, Roxas, I don't want to fade into oblivion." Kurix assured. "Now, I also know your thirst for knowlage knows no bounds."
"Your point?"
"I offer you a book I know you have not read. All I ask is you do me a favor..." Kurix said slowly, his emtpy eyes shineing darkly.
"Wow, I own my own castle!" Kairi said excitededly.
"Get a new place, and you're renting it out with in three minutes Kairi, wow." Sora chuckled.
"I'm telling you guys, I got a bad feeling about this."
"Ah, you always got a bad feeling." Kairi dismissed it. As if on cue, almost as if to prove Kairi wrong, the sky suddenly darkened, the happy, white clouds being replaced with dark, black storm clouds. The sky split open with a crack of thunder, and rain began to fall. From the clouds, lightning raged, going towards the castle and striking it. But, the castle remained unharmed. The storm seemed centered around the castle.
"What's going on..?"
"Sora!" Leon called, running up, Yuffie and Aeris hot on his heels. "What happened!?"
"I donno. This storm just kicked up out of no where. It's we-" Sora sopped, a light glowing from within him. "Wha-?" He saw the light leave his chest, not his heart, but something heading for the castle. Leon let out a loud, sudden curse that made the three jump.
"No!" He suddenly bolted towards the castle, but six Nobodies appeared before him, blocking his path, two new kinds of Nobodies, three each. The first, Sora had quickly called Generals. These Nobodies were twitchy, as all Nobodies seemed to be, but looked very humanoid, like a very, very large man with a heavy set of armor on. Their heads were in the shape of spiked helmates that had been broken open, leaving a large, cracked opening, with a single glowing eye from within. They hefted broadswords as big as Sora was tall and as wide as Kairi. The other half seemed to emenate danger, and at first glace, appeared to be Samurai. However, these Nobodies stood tall and un-afraid, with large horns coming from the front of their heads, and the bottom of their faces seeming to be hardly hanging on, but forming frightening looking fangs. They held only one katana-like blade, but they held it with unerring certainty. Sora decided to call these ones Shoguns. "Aeris!" Leon called, attempting to warn her away.
"No, I'm fighting!" Aeris stepped beside Leon, a staff in hand. Riku, and Sora called their Keyblades, and the battle commenced.
"Minami sae ri! Nigealias tre zeal nach! Somana, somanae, soraemi!" Sage's chanting rang out a black cloudy vortex stirring before him, making the heartless that had gathered nearby nervous, a wyvern shifting it's feet. The lightning had struck beside Sage, but hadn't scared him as thirteen lights began to glow around the large vortex, each glowing a different color. The light closest to Sages right was yellow, and directly across from him, white. The lights formed into a circle on the floor, and started to glow magnificently as each launched a coloumn of something. Blue began to spurt water, like a geyser. Light blue launched a sharp, icy crystal upwards, about the size of a human. Silver shone, as if moonlight was flooding it. Red burst into a column of flame, spewing from the ground. Yellow shot lighting forth from the ground, or did it come from the ceiling? Sage shook his head. He couldn't get distracted, or he and the Hu- Kurix would suffer for it. "Esri! Binega sel Esri!!" He called, channelling all of his magic into the vortex. Suddenly, the columns each burst, scattering their elements around. From where the coloumns once were, stood now twelve men, and one women, each clad in a black coat. Kurix grinned widely, and the thirteen looked around in confusion. Sage fell back, almost toppleing over, but a Wyvern had caught him with it's head. He had done it. But what had he done?
The fight had been long and hard, the Generals and Shogun being just as strong as Sora feared. Maybe even a little stronger. And to make things worse, the group couldn't find their way through Hallow Bastion, despite the fact all of them knew their way like the back of their hands. Aeris sighed.
"A spell." She said, being the least injured from the fight, due to Leon protecting her. She had also been using Cura nearly nonstop.
"What?" Sora asked.
"There's a spell on the castle." Aeris explained. "To keep out intruders. We've seen this hallway before."
Kurix stepped forewards, eyeing the thirteen newly ressurected people, each of which looked confused and shocked. Kurix rose his voice, booming above the general conversation.
"Orginization XIII!" He called to get their attention. "I am Kurix! Welcome back to life!"
"...You are Riku's Nobody.." Xemnas, the former leader, spoke first, his voice filled with certainty.
"Correct, Xemnas. I am also the new leader of Orginization XIII. Or, rather, Orginization XIV."
"And who says we're going to listen to you? Hm?" Sai'x asked, his eyebrow raised.
"Well, there are many reasons. I just, with help, brought you back. I'm the strongest among you, and I acctually have a plan to restore all of your hearts." The last statement brought a gasp from a few in the group. "Your idea was correct, to use hearts to create a Heart for you all, however, you were thinking to small." Kurix's eyes glittered with a dangerous light. "We will steal the Hearts of Worlds, and the Hearts of the Seven Guardians."
"You're a deranged fool." Zexion said simply, folding his arms. "To steal hearts of worlds, it cannot be done. And as for the seven gaurdians, one of them alone has beaten all of us, so how is it you propose defeating seven?" Zexion stated calmly, in a matter-of- fact manner. Zexion was one of the few who knew of the seven Gaurdians.
"I could do without the insult Zexion, but to answer your question: The same way you had stolen people's hearts. We make a breed of Heartless strong enough to destroy worlds by themselves. One for each of you. We than capture it, keeping it safe until we destroy the seven Gaurdians, hopefully allowing a Heartless to finish them, thus giving you seven more hearts. Afterwards, you may take a heart from those Heartless, and return to being whole if so you wish." Kurix eyed Roxas in particular. "Even if the rest of you is out within the worlds. I myself don't wish to return to that weakness, but if you do, I will gladly take command of your Nobodies and allow you to leave."
"And why should we trust you not to backstab us? You fraternize with Heartless, so you're not the most trustworthy of people here." Marluxia now questioned him.
"I want power, Marluxia, and you thirteen are my best shot at gaining power right now." A wyverns call interupted Kurix, and as the thirteen looked over to where the call had come from. Sage had collapsed from exhaustion, the wyvern holding him up now. "Well, it seems we only have a few moments, as Sage has been keeping our friends occupied. We shall continue this elsewhere. I'll find you all when the time comes. Untill than, feel free to do whatever you want." Kurix dissmissed them, all of them dissapearing into darkness, off to their own devices. Kurix heard the door open, turned, and smiled evily.
Sora and the group had found their way to the library at long last, opening the door to see thirteen swirling vortexes of darkness closing, the power obvious to Riku, Sora, and Kairi. The Orginization! The group had nearly lost the ability to breath, seeing Riku standing in front of them. But...no. This Riku seemed to excude danger, power coming off of him. This was Riku's Nobody, from when he had given himself to the Darkness. A reminder, the Nobody the exact double of Riku in the face, but his hair was black, cascading down his shoulders, down to his back like an ebony waterfall. His cloths, though they looked the same in form to Riku's, where bleached white, the white jacket coming together over the to-short white shirt, forming a little diamond of belly over his white pants, leading down to his white socks, into his white shoes. The most startleing difference between the two, however, was this Riku's eyes. While the blue of Riku's eyes was there, this one's eyes were thinly veiling a cruelty beyond measure. The kind of cruelty that tortured puppies for fun. He smiled, spreading his arms.
"Welcome! I am sad to say you missed the ceremony, and how wonderful that was."
"Who are you!?" Riku demanded, keyblade in hand.
"Riku...my shell. You look well. As rude as ever it seems though. I am Kurix, the new leader of Orginization XIII."
"Orginiziation XIII is gone! I beat 'em!" Sora told him, rising proud.
"And I returned them." This was said with a tight gasp from the group.
"Impossible!" Leon called.
"Is it? You all sensed that power. You all saw them exit." Kurix's eyes glew with an evil light. "The hardest thing in resurrection, you see, is to recall the heart from where ever it goes once they die. But with Nobodies, they have no hearts to recall. Thus, it is easy to bring back the bodies and minds." Kurix said, beginning to pace, a slight smile on his face. "With that knowledge, it was simply a matter of power to call upon the power to bring them back." Kurix said with a dark grin. "Which, as I'm sure you can see, I have plenty of. What do you think, my shell? Or whatever you would be called to me. Would you like to see, nce again, how much power the darkness holds? I assure you, it's a different experience when you're facing that power." Kurix said, an evil grin on his face. Riku ground his teeth, suddenly running at Kurix, his keyblade appearing.
"Riku! No!" Kairi said as he ran, but it was to late. Kurix laughed, the Soul Eater keyblade appearing in his hand as he simply knocked away the Way to Dawn, elbowing Riku in the back of the head, knocking him off his feet.
