Well, say what you want, but I've always had a belief in the unreal, meaning both in spirits and in mythology. (Keep in mind, I didn't read the article XD) I.E.: I've always believed Dragons did, and possibly still do, exist, I'm realitivly sure they used to for many reasons, 3 of which I'll share. Europe has no native lizard species, but yet, they have legends of a giant flying lizard? Why is it, every culture, no matter how far apart by time and space they are, have dragon legends? And finally, Dragon(s) are in the bible, and I'm not a relgious person, but isn't everything in the bible supposed to be real?

I tend to think of it more as the collective unconsciousness, but there have been some discoveries that hint of ancient peoples uncovering old bones and ascribing them to be those of mythic creatures. The classic case being of the wooly mammoth, which has a nasal cavity where one would think the eye should be, and possibly being the inspiration for the cyclopse.

I believe, just as in religion, it truly is all a matter of ones own opinion/views.

The classic case being of the wooly mammoth, which has a nasal cavity where one would think the eye should be, and possibly being the inspiration for the cyclopse. You got a point. Aside from that article, there have been numerous scientists who have uncovered different types of fossils which gave another expansion to paleontology and proves that these truly have existed. Look at the different exhibits of the skeletons of different dinosaurs (which of course are in museums obviously ><) Proves that these creatures have existed too millions of eons ago. Look at the Tyrannosaurus and scientists still doubt have fast they can move, although every nook and cranny in that beast's jaw bears teeth that can deal a devastating bite. Gotta admire paleontology~ And finally, Dragon(s) are in the bible, and I'm not a relgious person, but isn't everything in the bible supposed to be real? I'm a Catholic. I believe in (not all of) the content of the Bible....some. As for the Seven Days of Creation, it could actually be not just seven days, but probably, one day is an eon. The Fifth Day and the Sixth Day marked the creation of living beings with brain cells. Probably somewhere in that time period, the massive creatures we know as of today as dinosaurs have existed somewhere at that point. If they weren't, then where the hell could those dinosaurs' bones dug up have come from? Of course, they're not artificially made to trick the entire human society, right? There's still much to learn and discover, since we cannot do time travel realistically just to prove what kind of life has surfaced on the Earth hundreds of million years ago. And I for one never want to be stuck in time, hrrrr~ *shrugs*

Well now this is an interesting topic do dragons exist and if so do other mythological creatures? well one way or the other it really depends on what the host wants to believe and is mostly a matter of opinion I myself honestly do believe they exist dragons are supposed to be the embodiment of destruction or better yet I believe they are the vessels of the devil himself
I do not believe in anything scientists have to say but not because I am religious mostly because many of the things they say are "true" cannot really be proven by what they do I mean honestly a fossil is ust an old rock they can come up with theories left and right but in the end it doesnt really add to anything because theyre are many holes in their explanations and at various times they even coontradict themselves not to say that the bible isnt also full of holes but thats mostly due to lack of good translators afterall werent there many scriptures that werent released to the public?
I believe in what I cant see because what you do see will often be nothing more then a lie (not always though =P)
