As the two girls walked into the kitchen, the Nether Noble looked down at them with a raised eyebrow. He was gigantic in comparison to the two of these little tykes. "Hey. Your dad or whatever is washing dishes. Kids aren't allowed back here, so I suggest you go back into the kitchen. Oh, by the way, I'm the cook here. If you're ever hungry, you better come see me, or you ain't gonna get no food."
A few seconds after that comment, Gin walked back to the chef with what appeared to be an apron on. "The dishes are washed, d00d.", Gin reported, and then looked at the two girls. He smiled, and patted them on the head. "So, d00ds? What do you two wanna do now, d00d?", Gin asked as he walked out of the kitchen.

"*UUWAH*" Kanako cried in frustration as the ears on her hat twitched downward to match her mood.
feeling the urge to cry Kanako darted off quickly running out of the kitchen and around back to Laharl's room diving into the small coffin and pulling the lid mostly closed for protection.
Lucretia, Pringles and flonne arrived via the dimensional portal Laharl had created although the two girls found the landing to be a soft one the red eyed warrior was not as lucky and landed with both women standing on him.
the two quickly vacated their place on Pringles back and helped the warrior up and then awaited Laharl's return though the portal.

Tarein was pretty much stunned where she stood at what Kanako had just done she turned to Gin for a second and looked like she was going to say something, but she just stopped. In an unusual moment of impulse, Tarein took off after the other girl.
She didn't quite understand why she was upset, but she wanted to make sure that the other girl was okay. Of course, having lost sight of Kanako, all Tarein was really doing was getting herself lost...

Jack shook off the cold of the Frozen River. Even if he had his outer vestments on, the chill would have shaken him up. This was only the second time he had ever came to the Overlord's Castle, but he was beginning to take a liking to it.
His stomach growled, then Jack recalled how the dragon's body was left behind. He hung his head low, disappointed at the waste of so much good meat. Jack oggled Lucretia, then snapped his head away the moment he suspected she was aware.

Laharl yawned and walked to his chanbers. Wow, today had been a real doozy, and Laharl was actually tired...he needed to do that more often. Opening his chamber doors, he yawned again. Now it was time to have a little of his Black Sea Pudding, which he had stashed in here in fear of his other vassals eating it. Grr. Whatever, there was no way they were getti-
Laharl stopped dead at the most horrible sight he could ever imagine. An empty Black Sea Pudding container.
"RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
Laharl single handedly kicked down his chamber door, and stormed out his his room with absolute malice in his eyes. Someone...or SOMETHING had gotten in his room and eaten all of his pudding! This was an outrage!! Laharl grabbed the microphone that connected to every room in the castle that was only used in emergencies. "EVERYONE WHO RESIDES IN THIS CASTLE, LISTEN UP!! SOMEONE IN THIS CASTLE ATE MY GODDAMN PUDDING, AND WHEN I FIND OUT WHO DID, THEY"RE A DEAD MAN!!"
He slammed the microphone off, and stormed back to his chambers. God, maybe he should just go to sleep for a bit, and THEN begin interrogating everyone in the castle. Angrily, he opened his coffin lid, and layed down. God. this thing was getting lumpy. Laharl turned around to fluff his pillow, and felt something else.
Slowly getting up out of his coffin, he looked down at the small child who had taken refuge inside of it. His eyes were a burning torch of anger as he glared down at Kanako, and he slowly grabbed her by the back of the shirt and lifted her up to his level. "...GET...OUT...", he slowly said, and dropped her onto the floor before finally falling into the coffin and closing the lid.

Lucretia, Flonne and Pringles had all heard the announcement and had decided to investigate further starting by speaking with the prince directly. However when the trio entered the prince's chamber they saw the lid to his coffin closed and a small child crying trying desperately to claw her way back into the black box.
Kanako had first run into the room to get to the coffin's safety and hadn't payed attention to the room itself and being screamed at and stuck outside the small box she had begun to notice the lack of light and the creeping shadows on the walls.
Kanako hadn't noticed the three others in the room and began to panic from the fear. "*Uwah! sob ngh uwah! sob uwah!*" she exclaimed trying to wrench open the coffin lid with the little power she had between sobbing fits.
the three would be detectives were all agreed that this was horrible and likely Laharl's fault however Pringles unlike the two ladies wasn't will to wait and kicked the coffin causing the lid to fly off and then proceeded to grab Laharl by his hair antenna and pull him out of the box.
"Every damn time I turn my back you fail harder! Being a good demon is one thing but this is going too far you A**hole! how dare you make a child cry!" Pringles screamed and pointed at Kanako as he prepared to use his special attack if Laharl tried to justify himself.

Reiko and Mortamor discovered the power of the Tera star. Avoided it and flew off before anyone could see the blast. Both of them looked around to see that they all vanished. Damnit probably went through a portal, that or there bodies were vaporized but I doubt it. Reiko said angrily.
Mortamor nodded in agreement, they continued to fly towards the direction the demon told Reiko. It might be sometime before we get there, im curious to see what this kid is like. Reiko looked off into the distance. He saw a flaming aura in the darkness around a castle. Hmhmhmhm so am I, we got sometime to go but I think were headed the right way he said smiling.
With that said Mortamor raised his wings and flapped them with a very strong gust of wind shooting behind them, maybe it was the excitement of battle. None the less they would be sure to see the overlords son's end.

Jack ignored the declaration of Laharl. He hadn't eaten the pudding so he had nothing to worry about. A strong wailing echoed through the castle, and eventually Jack gave in to figure out what was happening. He scoured the castle until he reached the chamber of Laharl. Several vassals were making a scene and Pringles was yelling at Laharl, on account of the crying kid apparently.
"What broken home did you come out of, tube chips?" Jack ribbed, "First you calm down the kid and you make a scene when they're away for school or a movie or something."
Jack approached the small child and stooped down. The cleric looked the poor waif in the eyes and patted her head. Softly he spoke, "Hey there, you're a big aren't you? I know the guy with the ant head can be mean, but you're tougher than that. We'll go away from the grouch, so be a little trooper for me, won't you?"

Laharl opened his eyes, and stared at Pringles for a long while. The question wasn't "Am I going to apologise", but "I wonder how quickly I can kill this idiot so I can go back to sleep". Laharl, filled with rage, grabbed his Cosmic Blade. He had failed, all right. He failed when he decided not to kill this fool when he had the chance the first time.
"Stop that. You're flattering me too much, X. But please...I INSIST that you attack me while I'm in my own castle. In fact...I DARE you.", Laharl spat, malice dripping from every word. He then looked at Jack, and nodded. "Get that kid out of here.
Laharl then snapped his attention toward X, and grabbed his throat at full force, trying to make it so that he couldn't talk...or BREATHE for that matter. "Now you listen you me, you worthless worm. I don't care HOW much dirt on me you have. You're only here because my father, in his idiotic way of thinking, thought you were worthy of being his vassal. I, on the other hand, don't give a rat's ass about how he thought. The next time you cross me, X, I will make you endure a fate even worse than death."
And with that, he made for the door, and THREW X out of his room.
Laharl turned to the others with a glare. "Everyone of you...OOOUT!!"
And with that, Laharl layed back down into his coffin, and SLAMMED the lid shut.

Tarein wasn't sure who was yelling at her, but he sounded awfully angry for losing something like food. She hoped the voice actually wasn't talking to her.
She realized at this point that she was hopelessly lost in the castle. The only thing stopping her from giving up where she stood and sitting down to cry again was the fear that the angry voice would find her before the nice penguin man did.
She heard someone crying. That was an odd sound for her since it wasn't coming specifically from her. It must have been that other kid. She rushed forward and saw the open door. Peeking in from the side, she saw the other Demon girl and various others standing around as she cried. From her point of view, she couldn't see Laharl, but she knew someone was being held up by the one other.
Tarein turned herself back around the corner and had to wonder just what they were doing to Kanako in there.
In another moment, the Demon who was holding someone up flew out of the door. At that, she wondered if Kanako really had a reason to be crying.
