Gin shook off the soot that covered him from the explosion, and stood up. "Grr...I'll get him one day, d00d.", Gin said to himself. He then looked down at Tarein and Kanako, and bent down to their level. And then he heard Tarein's stomach. "Yeah, I figured that you two would be hungry, d00ds. C'mon, let's see what's good to eat around here, d00ds.", Gin said, picking the two tykes up. Jeez, they were heavy.
After sneaking past a sleeping Manty, he turned on the lights to the dining room. To his suprise, there was already a little bit of food already on the table. A steaming demonic roast made with pieces of garlic cooked inside for flavor, and a large "Sinfully Sensational" chocolate cake. Just as Gin set down the two squirts, a Specter floated over to Gin. "Hey. If you're plannin' on taking some food, you better make sure you tell the chef to make some more. I ain't makin' that guy mad.", he explained before floating away.
Gin sighed. He knew the chef was another one in the castle that you didn't get angry. Oh well.

Tarein was surprised to see Gin alright after just... exploding out of nowhere. She gladly went along with him when he mentioned food, though it felt a little strange being carried there.
When they passed by Manty, Tarein tried to hide behind Gin's body, not wanting to be seen if it just happened to wake up.
Upon sight of the food, Tarein was almost ready to cry out in joy. So far all she had eaten since she got to the Netherworld were random plants she had found and hoped were edible, and on one extremely desperate occasion, some sort of unidentifiable animal that her Demon spirit had fried. This was a culinary godsend to her.
For several minutes, she simply stared at the food, completely oblivious to the specter and any of the other Demons that may have come close to her in the period. Eventually, instinct and sheer desire for such good food overcame her fear and she began to dig into it voraciously.

Kanako tilted her her curiously once again as she watched the human girl but then suddenly remembered that she was hungry as well and followed in suit with Tarein.
the blue eyed demon stopped every minute or so to throw a piece of something back into mid air where it promptly disappeared thanks to her invisible friend Alz.

Gin took a step back from the two girls. Damn, they were tearing into that roast like it was a wrapped present on Christmas day. The chocolate cake was almost gone as well. Gin looked at the door that led into the kitchen, and walked in. A large Nether Noble sat in front of an oven, waiting for the broccoli cassarole to finish cooking. He looked down at Gin, and Gin gulped. "Um...uh, d00d? You better make something else, cause two hungry kids just ate your cake and roast, d00d.", Gin said, waiting for a beatdown.
The noble snorted, and shook his head. "Whatever. At least someone's eating it. You better make sure to bring the dishes back here after they're done, or I'll kick your ass. I hate washing dishes.", the noble grumbled. Gin sighed out of relief, and walked back to the two girls. He really thought he was gonna get slammed, there. He took a look at the girls, and smiled. Oh god, he was turning into the next Big Sis Prinny. "How you like the food, d00ds? Pretty good, huh d00ds?"

"It's... it's great!" Tarein was, in fact, in tears. To her, it was the greatest thing she had ever eaten. Whether it was true or simply the illusion of eating food after weeks of near-starvation, that's what she believed. She was surprised at how little of the food she ate before she was full, not aware that her stomach had gotten smaller since she got to the Netherworld. She was equally amazed at how much the other girl had eaten in comparison. She guessed that Demons must eat more than Humans did.
Tarein felt full of energy like she hadn't since she came to the Netherworld, and she noticed herself calming down. Maybe things had finally taken a turn for the better. She smiled again.

Kanako just smiled widely in response and giggled happily as her blue eyes turned to the prinny Gin.
Alz satisfied that Kanako was safe at the castle appeared visible to Tarein and Gin and gave a thumbs up before leaving the room and disappearing.

"Gah!" the spirit's sudden appearance caused Tarein to jump and trip over her chair leg, falling to the ground. She was quick to stand back up and get back in her chair "S-sorry." she figured she would have to get used to weird stuff happening around her, at least until she could get home.

Gin watched the spirit dissipate from the room, and raised an eyebrow. "Huh. Where did THAT come from, d00d?", Gin wondered to himself. He then watched as Tarein took a spill from her chair. Gin laughed, but then walked over to see if she was alright.
"Yeah, wierd stuff like that happens in the netherworld like that, d00d. YOu just gotta learn to live with it until you get home, d00d.", he explained to Tarein. After saying such, he picked up the plates and returned them to the kitchen as requsted from the grumpy cook. Gin was stuck for washing dishes for about 20 minutes. Sigh.

Kanako looked over at Gin and wanted to go play but she remember the man at the shop taught her that everyone around the house has to do their part so Kanako marched to the kitchen with a determined look in her blue eyes. //Kana help// she thought solidly.

Tarein wasn't sure where the other girl was going, but she didn't want to be left without someone she felt at least vaguely safe with. She jumped down out of her chair and followed the thief as closely as possible.
