As he made his way through a dense, uncharted forest land on his way toward a river not too far off from the forest, he remembered all that life had taught him. But one thing he seemed to continuesly go back to in his mind was the unfortunate fact that his mom had taught him basically everything, but she had not teach him how to swim. This proved to make itself a problem time and time again, and today he planned on learning how in a river. He was a bit afraid but, he kept telling himself that if he was ever going to learn how to swim now was as good a time as ever.
Stepping closely to the edge of the river which had designed itself to look more like a cliff than an edge, he removed his shirt, tossing it to some patches of grass just behind him. Lifting his arms up, and lacing his fingers together he bent back and popped his back to get all of the kinks out, a way that gave him some comfort and encouragement. He then sighed to release his fear, and closing his eyes prepared himself for the dive.

Nestled in a tree was a young scout. Around the age of 1000 or 1100. He had his hands behind his head as he gave a yawn The day seemed pretty boring for him. No monsters, no fish whatsoever. He was also hungry. He wondered if there were any fish in the near by river.
So... Olber, the young scout made his way over to the river. He was unaware he'd meet someone or something. Ah well. It was the Netherworld. He at at the edge of the River, kicked off his boots and casted his makeshift fishing rod in the water, hoping he'd catch a bite.

Behemoth gulped, and let himself fall forward, unaware of anyone else's presence. The air felt nice as he threw himself into a free-fall dive, of which fear had once again entangled him. To his unfortunate experience however, there was nothing he could do about the fear; it would remain there until he emerged from below the surface. He was in an almost perfectly executed dive, though he was off only by inches..
Splash!
He hit the water, and dove under, deeper, deeper still.. It was very cool, and the current wasn't violent nor rapid. In fact, it felt rather charming to him, and even though he was a cat he quickly learned that swimming might not be as bad as everyone made it seem after- Suddenly, there was a sharp, dangling pain in his side as a hook dug itself into his pants, and into his skin; he gasped, releasing his air bubbles as he was caught!

"I must've caught a big one!" Olber yelled as he yanked his fishing rod. He tried to fight with it, pulling with all his might and seeing if he could reel in the prize catch of the day.
"URGN!" He grunted as he tried to reel it in. Whatever it was, it seemed to fight back.. or so he thought.
"Damn.. It must be a hellfish!" He yelled, "That makes excellent cookin'!" He kept on yanking at his rod.

All of his yanking and fighting pulled off as Behemoth gave up, and was reeled in; soon enough, as he met the end of his captrer's rod, he saw who had done this to him; a strange male scout of whom he had never seen nor met. His expression flushed itself into a blank, rather annoyed or embarressed face. He hissed madly at him, but didn't move.
Even though he wanted to desperately brawl with his new found enemy, he chose not to; or, at least, he needed to get off the hook first. He meowed pathetically after hissing, making a sad kitty face. "Sir, please let me go! I have done nothing wrong." He begged for his freedom, hopefully on land than being tossed back into the water. He was now at the mercy of the fisherman.

The scout with a scar was surprised at what he caught. He captured a Male Nekomata! He dusted himself off and sweat dropped.
"Eh heh.. I won't eat ya. Are ya okay?" The young demon boy asked. He extended his hand out for an offer of help to the feline.
"I'm very sorry. I thought I caught a huge fish!"

His expression became a blank as his eyes hid themselves behind his hair. He then began to squirm and struggle violently in a hissing, screaming mess as his face became hot and red with anger and hurt feelings, "Huge?! HUGE! I am not huge! I am a moderate sized cat! Grawr!!" He apparently took being called a huge fish as an insult even though the other never really called him one, and seemed very offended by such as he continued to thrash about wildy.

Olber sweat dropped at this.. issue as he shook his head.
"Calm down, will ya? I'm sorry I called ya such a thing. However. Would ya like to have some fish dinner with me?" He looke dat the Cat boy and unhooked him.
"So.. Ya like fish?"

Sitting down on a rock near Olber, sulking slightly, he nodded in reply. "Yes, I like fish. Very nutritious, or so I've come to believe." He stood up again, only to shake the water out of his hair and clothes. His tail swayed and his ears perked up as he patted down the stone to remove the sleeping dust from it, and took a seat again. Smiling, he spoke. "Uhh, s-sorry for my rudeness, it's not exactly fun for a cat to get caught like.. like that. I am, mm, I am Edward, who're you?" He asked, extending his hand politely, still seated on his rock.

"Olber!" The scout crowed happily. He gave a large smile. He liked fish also. A young demon like him also was use to getting his own food. Most young demons just got food from living with their parents. Olber howeber, seemed to be a wandering demon. Maybe hench his scar?
"So...a re ya good at fishin'?" He asked. He looked at the lake, poking the water, "'Caue I hope to catch a ton."
