I thought wrong.
I'm planning on making an original character, but I need a couple more things cleared up.
The character, Marrowchan, is going to be a fusion of a generic human Warrior and a being called a Phantasm (though I might just call it a 'Wellard' and get it over with, though if I make her class the monster 'Phantasm' I won't be able to BUY a Wellard [and thus she won't be one, just a 'Phantasm' in general], as that's the highest rank below 'Onetime' -- don't ask [yet]).
I'm debating handling this as either her being . . .
A) A Warrior,
B) a Pirate (the original class I submitted but so far hasn't gotten a price evaluation . . . yet . . .), or
C) a Monster of a unique class that I am going to also submit but haven't quite finished (let alone started) yet (namely, the Phantasm).
Frankly, I am wondering if it would be possible to actually make the race titled as 'Human + Phantasm/Wellard' (whether I make it 'Phantasm' or 'Wellard' depends on whether I choose A, B, or C option) and use one of the available classes (or the class 'Pirate') without paying any extra for it -- after all, the special race-typing won't give her any combat-based abilities (though if I make her a Monster-class, I might give her hair combat abilities; when she starts, though there will be no combat abilities for her hair, though if she's mad she could use it to try to throttle one of her vassals outside of combat; also, an eye on her headband that she'll wear would be able to move).
So . . . yeah . . . now that I've explained quite a bit about her and my problem, I'll repeat my query so that you all know it: Will giving my character a unique race typing but not a unique (or not-otherwise-already-paid-for) class cost me any more money than the class initially did, if the unique race doesn't give her any combat-based abilities? And I apologize if this question is too much or if I've been asking too many questions period . . .
EDIT: Also among what I'm wanting to know is that IF there are any costs, what would they be for (and if ye who answers has the authority and know-how to do the deed, how much it would cost . . . ).
