The second-to-last boss in Grandia 2, the one with the three heads. It took me three months to beat him. D: That and the last boss of Tales of Eternia. It took me an one try, but I spent an hour fighting him. D:

The other frustrating boss is in "Persona 3" final boss. He is not difficult enough to beat but when he in the edge of dying, he use the power that call moon.... queen.... whatever I forgot what it is that can deal great amount of damage and status effect charm. When my party is in charm condition, they use 'Diarahan'(Full Heal) at the enemy than I have to start over again...... and when the boss is in the edge of dying again....... charm status effect..... 'Diarahan'(Full Heal) again...... start over again..... like three times..... (2 hours)

Oh yeah, that charm ailment can be a real pain for the P3 boss. Monad was a real help to get pumped up enough to redo that damage. It's a crap shoot when that happens.

hmm, I never played that game before, but couldn't you circumvent that by simply leaving yourself with no MP (or that game's equivalent to it) when it's almost dead?

Bad strategy, you need that MP for spells that deal helluva more damage than physical attacks (I.e. Metatron's Megidoloan). Also, he might use a physical attack deflecting spell.
Hardest boss ever... Demifiend in Digital Devil Saga 1. Not only is he tough as hell, so are his minions who are designed to compliment his appetite for destruction. You have to lower your defenses to keep him from using his Gaea Rage attack which wipes out the entire party instantly. Honestly, he's more like a puzzle than a boss battle.

Boogieknight have you finish the monad place? because I'm only explore until floor 7th then I give up because the monster is like hell in there but can gather great amount of experience. I wonder what happen if we reach the last floor in monad?

Monad has only 10 floors and there's nothing special there. It's just a bonus dungeon to keep leveling once you reach as high as you can before the climax. In the later cycles, you can access it from the beginning. Keeping an ally of two alive to the end of a battle can help your party level up rapidly to make the boss battles in later cycles easy. It'll free you up to max out all the Social Links, but don't forget about those time dependent requests! There's a special bonus for completing them, though I haven't actually seen it myself, yet.

Have you completed the mission that must defeat the reaper? I can't barely stand while fighting him.
