alright alright, has anyone ever gotten the bronze fists?! (blatant attempt to re-rail topic) Nope, and I stopped playing it all together when the final form of Lavos kept on killing me in two hits. >_>;;

emulators have one fatal flaw (besides needing a system that's approximately 15x more powerful than the system it's emulating...), certain keypress combinations (such as the future password room to many gamers' annoyance) simply don't work (I'm sure you've noticed that you can't run diagonally in certain directions...) there are two known ways to fix this bug that seems to present itself in EVERY emulator...
1. get a USB controller. For some reason the bug only affects keyboards...
2. if it's only needed for a temporary part of the game (such as your password problem) you can map several of the keys needed to the same button and continue as normal

What the hell, dude. DX It won't let me save! I'm doing exactly what I'm supposed to, but it just makes the "access denied!" noise. Is this normal? What do I have to do?

you have to be on the world map or at a save point. If you're having problems on the world map, then I dunno what to tell you. If you're having problems at a save point, try moving around on it and pressing the A button, I'm pretty sure that also brings up the save menu...
