Depends. I like Dating Sims a lot. They're fun, if you ask me, if a bit tedious sometimes. If we're talking "Ero-Pacman" stuff, then yeah, they usually just try to win you over with bewbs.

In truth, most hentai games don't really play well. They're just bad games with pornographic images, not that hot. Mm, a lot of the older ones lack any real interesting stuff; some of the newer ones are far too complicated to even do much. Like Tokimeki Check-In. You need a walkthrough to get all of the girls. BUT some of the new ones are great, Enzai is by far my favourite. It's a yaoi based game, but omfg the art, the storyline, and the voice/sound effects are amazing. The anime doesn't do it justice AT ALL. But, honestly my alltime favourite computer game so far is Princess Maker 2. Haha.

I love Rpgs and SRPGS to death, but I just had choose platform games. Klonoa 2 and the first three Spyro games are some of my all-time favorite games.

On eroge/hentai games: Don't play it if you don't understand it, unless you somehow get a translation patch for it. This goes for especially interesting looking ones. But not always will you get good game with good art. Alice Parade is a good example of the "neat art, bad game" syndrome.
I tend to go for RPGs/SRPGs myself, though I'm an avid shmup player.

I love real time and turn-based strategy, and rpg's, but there is a spot in my heart for fps games.

While I love a good RPG, and Puzzle games rock . . .
Nothing, and I mean nothing, beats the fun of picking up a retro platformer (and I'm talking one of those golden gems like Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island or Super Mario Bros.) and just hopping around like, to quote Jolene from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, a "demented pogo freak" as you try to survive the level. Nothing beats that kinda gameplay, I love retro games, and above all retro platformers. 'Nuff said.
