Most teen horror novels add slight gory detail, but they don't go wild with it. Of course, it varies from author to author, but everything I've read is modest with the detail.
Johnny the Homicidal Maniac on the other hand...XDD

I'm in the middle of a bunch of books. I keep forgetting to bring them to college, so I check another book out of the library:

I really liked some of the inside stuff he revealed in Bias, all in all I think he's a good writer.
