"Ha! It worked!" Roscoe pumped his fist. "Miss Terra, you're a doll and a half for playing along. I'd kiss you, if it didn't guarantee to be awkward afterwards." Hearing Asagi snap at Terra reminded him that they still weren't out of the woods (literally and metaphorically). "Right. Let's find this pudding and get out of here before some other plot twist happens."
He crossed his arms and thought. "The kitchen is always an option. Elios could always have hidden them, but I'd guess he never had a reason to think we would get past the main room, and so he'd have no reason to hide it. That's the most obvious answer, at least. Otherwise he hid them under his matress or something silly like that." Looking up at the two girls, he said "Unless, of course, you two have another idea?"

"It was no problem at all, Sir Roscoe." Terra stated, turning to regard him. He was a bit ruffed up it seemed, but overall all three seemed fine. With her sword back onto her side where it belonged she briefly leaned back on the railing of the staircase. "Well, I suppose the kitchen is the most obvious place ..." She shrugged. She wasn't actually sure where the kitchen was, actually. Terra began to look around, but... it was most likely on the first floor.
Terra straightened up from the railing, and stepped down the staircase with an unusual hate. She'd rather get it over with as soon as possible, an return to her lazing around. There were a few side doors on each side it seemed, though as to which it could be was anyone's guess. "Well, pick a door, pick any door?" Terra said with a shrug, as she glanced back at the two.

"Why don't we split up?" Asagi suggested, "That way, we have three times the chance of picking the right door." She followed Terra down the stairs, not because she thought it was on the first floor, but because she felt it might be better to start there and search upwards. "From that fight back there, I'm sure we can all handle ourselves if something comes up, right?" She looked at her two companions, as if asking them for input.

Roscoe looked down at his belt, at the empty gun holster, and noticed something else right next to it. There was a loop of stretchy fabric, held together with a button. I wonder... With an effort, he managed to unbutton the band, place his new sword there, and close it. He then did a little turn with the weapon in place. Huh. It fits just fine. Sure, it might need some kind of scabbard to keep it from stabbing someone, not to mention it might damage the loop after a while. But hey, I feel like one of those cool knights in the movies, off to save the girl and fight the evil count. He smirked. Heh, so what if it's not from this century? I still cut a dashing figure with this baby. Intergalactic Hero Roscoe. I like the sound of that...
He was so caught up in the novelty of his belt and his sword, he wasn't paying attention when Asagi suggested splitting up. "Huh? Oh, right... absolutely..." he said noncommitally, unaware that he just agreed to fending for himself.

Terra nodded approvingly. "Sounds like a plan then, Miss uh ... you. We'll surely find it faster, then." Terra was sure that not only would getting this over with be hugely beneficial to her sleep schedule, but it would definitely please Etna, too. Anger Etna could only inspire wrath.
Terra walked towards a door to her right, calling out a single time before she left the room. "Good luck!" Terra opened the door, and walked in, closing it behind herself. It led into a hallway with a couple different paths on each side of the hall. Terra walked onward, glancing down one of the open sideroutes that lacked a door. To her surprise it seemed to be some sort of "Trophy" room, with various useless things littered all about. Many of the trophies seemed to involve food. Apparently he must've been some sort of chef ... in his past this Elios was known for making pudding, apparently.
Terra sighed, slumping slightly ... she wondered if the others would realize if she took a short nap... Terra went past the trophy room, prepared to search yet another ...

Waving back to the others as she went her own way, she turned her attiontion back to the task at hand, opening a door and going through. Similarly to the door that Terra went through, it led to a hallway with multiple doors on either side. "Well, let's see...eenie meenie..." after picking one at 'random', she entered, unsure of what she'd find. On the other side of the door, Asagi found herself surrounded by thousands of dusty old books. 'Huh....this must be the library...' she thought to herself, 'from the looks of this place, he must not come in here much...' Distracted, she started to wander over to a shelf to look at the old books on it.

"Huh? Hey, where'd...."
Roscoe was suddenly aware of the fact that he was all alone. "Guys? Guy-ais?" He took a deep breath. "All right, Roscoe. Just relax. The door is open, just remember the old ORF." Choosing the first door he came across, he opened it and took a step inside.
"Whaa?"
"Kyaaaa!"
"Sorry! I'm so sorr...yowch! You don't have to throw th...yow! All right, I'm going!"
He left the room and shut the door behind him, red as a beet and nursing a rather impressive bump on his head. "Okay, so my best guess is that it's not in there. So..." Walking up to another door, he turned the knob, winced, then slowly opened it. He peered inside. The room was dark, and he could only see the first few steps of a stair case going down into the darkness. Suddenly, a horrible moan started to waft up from it.
"OooOOooohHH! That light is too bright. It hurts my eyes. Why does everyone keep opening that door? Everyone just wants to make me uncomfortable. Weh-heeeeehhhhhh!!!"
Roscoe slammed the door quickly. He looked at no one in particular and pointed a thumb at the door. "Heh, heh. Wine cellar."

Terra opened the door to another room. It definitely wasn't a kitchen, she was sure of that. It seemed to be some sort of large barracks-like chambers. Probably for the warriors they had fought off, or maybe for some other servants. Oi ... maybe I should just let the others search.
Terra couldn't help but feel a bit tired, partially from her injury, partly from having done alot for today, but mostly because she was just about the laziest demon you'd normally ever lay eyes upon. "It's unlikely anyone could notice..." She walked towards the closest bed and immediately plopped herself down upon it, falling away into a world of slumber ... one where she didn't worry about the ever looming threat of enemies, assassins, or Master Etna's anger.

Asagi was snapped out of her distracted state when she heard the loud noises that were coming out of the doors Roscoe was opening. She considered rushing over to see what was going on, but decided against it, after all, they DID all agree that they could take care of themselves. She did, however, leave the room in favor of searching another. It seemed to be some kind of study. "Sheesh, what is this, the research wing or something?!" she said, frustrated, "There's no way the kitchen would be around here!"

"Right." Roscoe rubbed his hands together. "No more of this fooling around. Time to find this pudding and get the heck outta here. Lessee..." He closed his eyes. "Eenie Meenie Meine Mo, please don't be a room where a monster will jump out at me, eat me and spit out my toes."
Finally pointing at a door, he walked up to it and flung it open. He was in some sort of closet. Cloaks hung on the wall, all of the same color. "Yeah, this Elios guy definitely has horrible taste in fashion." He winced, looking around. "Not that I'd know anything about any of that, being a dude." He strolled to the far side of the room. "Well, if his closet is here, then this next room..." He pushed open the door.
And looked around the gigantic room. "...must be a large ballroom. Right. I was expecting a bedroom or something, but then again that'd be logical, wouldn't it? Huh, what's this?"
Up a staircase, the far wall had been knocked down. Climbing the stairs and looking out, he could see the room where he and the two ladies were fighting. So, this must be where Asagi kicked Elios...
Looking at the disturbed dust, he saw where Elios had been laying, where he had picked himself up, and a trail of dusty footprints. So that's why Asagi couldn't find him. He'd already gotten up. Geez, these demons are tough cookies. Well, if he was so adamant about protecting his pudding, then there's only one place these footprints could lead.
Following the trail, he put a hand over his sword. His danger senses were in full gear, but he refused to turn away. "C'mon, Roscoe," he coached himself, "Let's get this over with so we can go home." He reached for the door and opened it. He looked in...
...only to see a cluster of fireballs headed directly for him.
