Hoggmeiser was more or less certain that he could trust this guy. Sure, there's the promise of a cash reward for finding a friend of his, but he's a zombie. Must be that he wanted to find some others of his number... or some monster. But that was this guy's buisness, and he was sure to find out sooner or later.
Hoggmeiser also snorted at the sight of what looked like a dark figure up ahead. He didn't know exactly what it was... or whether it was friendly or hostile...

Carter never cared for interdimensional travel, the idea of being moved and reassembled atom-by-atom always unnerved him a little. Having to travel by these means in controlled lands was bad enough, but getting to the netherworld by these means seemed... worse somehow. Carter muttered a little and sealed his helmet onto his suit, still in his chamber long after Ryao left, finding as much information as he could about the traces left by the ... shark ... so as to save himself some time.
After a few hours he managed to lock onto a trace energy signature, leading from the already-known point of entry and exit and a ways through the netherworld. He grimly smiled and calibrated the teleporter, phasing out of existance and reappearing some ten yards above the surface of his destination, falling prone.
That was another reason Carter hated traveling long distances via teleportation. His suit had fortunately absorbed most of the impact, leaving him only with the job of pulling himself up off the ground, which he promptly did, looking around himself while doing so.
He saw something, wait, no, some things. A zombie, three prinnies and some kind of walking pig. Carter approached the party of netherdwellers, only partially figuring the zombie and three prinnies was Ryao and his associates...
He waved and greeted them as he approached. "Greetings, vhuefer yuoo ere-a! I em Generel Certer, und I cume-a in peece-a." He smirked as he said this, since he was, in fact, not really coming in peace, but more coming to teach a shark a lesson.
Upon getting closer, he saw that it was, in fact, Ryao. "Hmhmhm... Ryeu, my freeend! Surry ebooot beeeng su unpoonctooel, I hed sume-a metters tu ettend tu beffure-a leefeeng. Vhu's thees peeg here-a?"

Obviously something had happened to Carter since crossing over into the Netherworld, Ryao pondered to himself. The possibility had occurred to him that because Carter was in fact a human, that his composition might not have been able to entirely handle the warp. As he approached, Carter was babbling seemingly unintelligible nonsense. But when Ryao thought about it, it seemed as though the jump may have just scrambled Carter's basic processes a bit. Hopefully with time it would wear off.... However, this could be a good time to test out the efforts of his latest training.
Ryao asked his prinnies and the pig demon to stand back and give him some room. He was going to try to fix this problem. Ryao relaxed his body and focused his mind at Carter. He slowly extended out his decrepit claws, and immediately a bright green light emanated from the general and enveloped his surrounding area. Such a strong reaction! The prinnies were awestruck. "Woah dood! ESPOIR!", shouted the amazed prinny #1. As the light faded Carter could be seen in the midst of the dust settling.

Hoggmeiser, having given his acquaintance some room as he was told, raised a brow if he ever had one. 'Espoir? That is sure something for someone like him.' the pig demon thought to himself. He found something like this not your everyday sight. In fact, most other zombies do things that are... well, regular for the undead.
He watched the green light give way to the strange man, supposedly the 'friend' that they were trying to find the whole time. He could only watch to see what would happen next.
