One in Trillion chance of survial? I like the odds

[Rakai]

The giant Crystal fell from the sky though it actually ell not to far from the ground, appearing out of some odd looking black ‘oozish’ stuff, crashing into the graveyard sending gravestones, coffin and remains flying everywhere.

There it stood for two days without moving, nothing being able to be seen within the glossy coating of the crystal, though some who lived in or near the graveyard did sometimes come to see what was in there or went to tell someone about it since it crushed their families gravesite.

It wasn’t until a week after it appeared that a tiny crack formed…and then steadily got bigger as seconds and minutes passed, until the entire crystal was cracked all around…

“What idiot…”

The crystal shook and the cracks expanded greatly.

“…dares to steal…”

The cracks once again, this time the now separate parts of the crystal started to vibrate.

“…the hot water…”

The crystal started to glow brightly with dark energy.

“…of The GREAT…”

The crystal shattered and disintegrated from existence as the powerful dark aura shook the entire graveyard. All this happening in one fluid sentence.

“…RAKAI!!!!”

Chest outward and arms outstretch while he screamed the last part, Rakai settle down as he walked out of his room, lowering his shoulders and chest…and then looking around…

“Uh…”

A crash came from behind, causing his shoulders to perk up and his eyes to expand. When he looked around his room had collapsed under the weight of age and time. He then thought it best he take a REALLY good look around.,

“I know that this is defiantly not the Underworld… Even for a graveyard there is too much life…”

[Rakai]

Rakai turned and started to walk through the debris of his once room, almost looking as though he were counting his steps and moving in a specific direction until turning at certain points.

“Where the heck is it?”

He finally stopped and started to move the now garbage around until he found a towel underneath it all, removing it his expression (if you could see it under his mask) turned grim.

“WHAT? N…N…N-N-N-NOOOO!!!!”

He started throwing debris around madly for a few moment and then slowly and shakily pulled out a large sword…that was completely rusted.

“How did this happen? How could Dokugra rust? It’s been alive for 3000 years and not once has it ever rusted…”

He shoved the blade of the sword into the ground and his eyes turned to thin slits as he went over to the towel, taking off one of his gloves and lifting the towel off the ground, feeling that it is still wet.

“How can a towel make a legendary sword rust after being on it for a few seconds…”

He tossed the towel and put his glove back on, then going back to his sword and pulling it out of the ground, tossing it on his shoulder while he held the hilt. He then felt the compulsion to just get the heck out of here.

“…Besides, I have to figure out something.”

[Rakai]

As he was walking through the graveyard he began to notice that he was not alone anymore, and a smirk came across his face under his mask.

“What is it peons?”

Three Zombies had surrounded him, with a look of ‘anger’ on their expressionless faces.

~You have destroyed and desecrated our resting place, and for this you will be punished.~

Rakai just laughed once as he turned to face them, tapping his sword on his shoulder.

“You must be pretty brave to want to attack the great Overlord Rakai.”

The zombies just stared at him for a moment.

~Never heard of him.~

Rakai fell over for a second and then popped back up, enraged.

“Then hear this! GATE OF OBLIVION!!!!!”

He stuck his hand out dramatically towards the Zombies who did flinch at the move….but then they looked to see…that nothing had happened, though they weren’t even a fraction of how confused and disturbed Rakai was at the moment. His red eyes being huge confused circles, his arm still pointed towards the zombies.

“What the hell?”

The zombies then rushed up and punched him, once, twice, and then the third time sent him flying back to the ground. After a moment he stood and rubbed the lip of the smile painted on his mask as though wiping blood from it.

“Heh, you must level 9999 zombies to hurt me that much.”

He had said that in such a cocky tone that the zombies actually looked confused at each other.

~We are level 5 zombies.~

Rakai’s entire body including his clothes turned white with a thick black outline of his figure, his eyes turning pure white with a squiggly black outline around them, the sound of a piano dropping coming from no where.

“That….can’t….be right….”

He then regained his composure and put two hands on his sword.

“At guess I’ll have to take you out the old fashioned way. BLADE RUSH!!!!”

Again the Zombies flinched again, but then opened their eyes to see that Rakai stood there holding his sword up and back as though he were about to charge them with a Blade Rush, but he did not move and he was motioning for his body to move as though he should be doing the blade rush right now.

“WHAT THE HELL!!!?!??!!!?”

[Rakai]

~20 minutes later~

Rakai fell back, trying to catch his breath, a large water drop going down the side of his head for a moment as he dropped his sword and surveyed the damage. There were dents all over his body and blood was dripping from the chin of his mask, but he could not help but laugh at the site of the now julienne zombies, though it took some doing to cut them down to size one by one, and Rakai himself was not sitting pretty at the moment.

“And not a dimensional Gate operator in sight, and even so, I always got my vassal to take care of everything, I mean I don’t even know what gate I would use to get home.”

He flopped back with a thud, and a sigh escaping form under his mask.

“At least none of them are here to say ‘I told you taking on a Healer as a pupil would come in handy, but no’….”

He took his sword in his hand and started crawling to a tree, pulling himself up it until he could turn himself and lean his back on the tree with his bottom on the ground.

“I’ll just do it the old fashioned way.”

He closed his eyes and began to rest, though his wounds would take a while to heal naturally, once he had at least a ‘decent’ buffer of health he would continue on.

“I just wish I could get out of this damb graveyard.”

"You okay?"

It was hard to tell if it was male of female, but it was definately a knight. "His" cape, however, seemed to be made out of old Prinny costumes wrapped around his shoulders. "His" hair was put in a ponytail behind him with a pair of bangs fluttering from the side, three Prinnies walking behind him.

"... Yikes... someone did a number on you..."

"D...Dood, are you sure that there might be Prinnies around here?!" Tike whined.

"Dunno, but hey... this guy looks like he could use our help."

[Rakai]

A single red orb appeared in the eye hole of the mask and looked up at the ‘person’ in front of him, and didn’t know whether to say goodbye to his own carcass or to ask for help before this being finish the job.

Rakai coughed and more blood dripped from the chin of his mask.

“You wouldn’t happen to have heal spells, or any healing items? Even some ABC gum would be a great start, but all I have is the clothes on me and this worthless sword.”

He tried to lift the rusted Dokugra but he could not in his condition, he merely shook his hand and the sword moved slightly.

“I don’t usual ask for help but dire times call for dire decisions, and I have made mine to ask for mercy.”

The knight looked the wounded one over before walking a little closer.

"... Well, I don't have any reason to beat you up any worse than you already are, but what the hey..."

The knight placed his hands together for a moment and prayed, raising his hand over the wounded demon. Yeah, she knew he was a demon, but clemency and redemption was her job. The heal spell went through his body and patched up a little of his energy... but considering how much was healed from a low-level of that spell... as well as the fact that this knight had a sword and not a staff, this knight wasn't anything to sneeze at.

"The name's Grotto, the Prinny Knight. What busted you up so bad?"

The Stooge Squad just stood at attention, but Mike slapped a flipper on his forehead... Fatima just healed a demon...

Rakai quickly stood up fully healed, since his max hit-points were so low at the moment, he brushed himself off and coughed once, clearing his throat. He felt completely embarrassed that he was completely healed by such a weak healing spell.

“A mere decimal of hit-points back but it will do until I can find a healer.”

He then looked at the person with both eyes open, then closing his arms and laughing lightly.

“It was a few level 9999 zombies that decided it was their time to die, so I helped them out with that.”

He stood there with his right leg shaking lightly as though he was impatient to see if this person believed him or not. He was thankful his nervous grin could not be seen from behind the mask.

The anime sweat-drops were in Stereo with the Stooge Squad and the mysterious knight.

"Wow... I'm tougher than I thought if I could heal someone who takes care of zombies that nasty... I wonder what level that makes me?"

There was a hint of sarcasm in the knight's voice, but it seemed an honest question at the same time. The knight folded "his" arms with a cheeky grin.

"My reflexes must be great, then. With a high speed like yours, there's no way I could connect with a spell! My hard training must have finally paid off!"

"Uhhh... dood..."

"Can, it, Mikey! What if he really IS that tough, dood?"

"Bra take care of him..."

[Rakai]

He looked at the prinny’s as his ears perked, having uncanny hearing, even though they were right there, so with a quick snap of his head to the left and a large crack he attempted to intimidate them….rather than have them brutalize him back to the point of near death.

“Like I said, only a small decimal of my maximum health was healed back, maybe one, one billionth of it.”

He walked over and picked up his sword, and then resting part of it on his shoulder, and turning to face this ‘man’-‘girl’.

“For your help I will let you live, I am not as cruel as a demon, and I do feel there is honor in helping someone that could destroy you.”

There was no flaw in his voice as he said this bluff, but he was hoping that it would at least work long enough to let him live.

“Tell me, what plane of existence is this? I know it isn’t the Home Every Loser Loaths.”
