Vyers did not wish to go into Baal's castle alone, so he replied, "You will meet moi in the Heart of Evil shortly." He turned from the bell and addressed Emily and Jennifer, "Mademoiselles." Vyers then proceeded to leave the dungeon.
Boogie leered at Vyers as he left, he didn't trust the demon at all but it was better than using a vassal. He thought hard about how best to defend the castle. Baal was a mighty demon, there wasn't much to meaningfully protecting the castle itself, but guarding the life of Laharl was crucial. Boogie said allowed, "The castle is a symbol of authority, but it is expendable. Don't be too eager to engage Baal in battle, Laharl. As in chess, the loss of the king means we lose."

((Go for it~))
Jennifer nodded slowly as Kitty fell back, the communication link broken. She wondered how Brue would escape from Baal's castle to the Heart of Evil, whatever that was.
Kitty waved a fond farewell to Vyers and turned back to the Prince and Emily. She didn't wear an innocent face; doing that would certainly show she wasn't honest.

"Don't be too eager to engage Baal in battle, Laharl. As in chess, the loss of the king means we lose." "Yeah, yeah..." Laharl muttered, "Still, I bet I could wipe the floor with him... Alright, let's put these others to good use, hm? I know there's some floors wanting to be washed!" Very honestly, Laharl wasn't sure what to do in this entire situation. While he -was- in the position of power, he was still young and inexperienced, even if he refused to admit it. So he was trying to hide this by acting all tough. As usual. "I also want someone watching each side of the castle to make sure nobody sneaks up anywhere. And keep an eye on every single trap door and passageway we have!"

Boogie advised, "We should also make plans for a place to withdraw and regroup if we do get overrun. The prinnies will do for keeping the pawns occupied, but Baal's inner circle and Baal himself should be our priority. For them we should assemble your strongest vassals."
Boogie looked around, "Where is Etna? She'll need to lend her strength to the fight as well."

Though Kitty looked disinterested in the events, she listened intently to Boogie and Laharl's conversation, keeping all the spoken plans locked in her head. Whether or not she would share with Baal was another story. It would be best to see what Brue and Vyers came up with.
Jennifer wasn't sure what would happen with her, but she was more than willing to help against Baal's forces.

Boogie looked over to the prisoners, "I think we should discuss out strategy in a more suitable venue and with more vassals around to relay orders. Simple brawling will be insufficient for this battle, we will require a thought out plan and soldiers with direction."
He went up the steps and left the dungeon.

No matter~ All that were left were prinnies and guards anyway. A lot of prinnies and guards.
Jennifer sighed and closed her eyes. "Well, Kitty... I guess all we can really do is wait and pray. Though I WISH we could be of some help to them." The human opened her eyes once more. "And poor Frost. I never did get a chance to free her."
Kitty nodded slowly.
"She'd help them - beat Baal, I mean. Right?"
Kitty didn't answer. She really had no idea, nor did she care. All she needed was the layout of this freak kid's castle and to get out of here. What Frost did with it was her decision - give to Baal, keep it for blackmail, whatever. "Pri... nny. Prinny!" Kitty mewed out to one of the guards. "Catboooooox..."

"Look, you little brat, dood," one of the guards muttered. It had been several minutes of argument between helkitty and prinny guard. "I told you. We don't HAVE catboxes. And if we did, I certainly wouldn't let you out!"
Kitty pointed to another phrase in the translation book.
The prinny sighed deeply and looked it over. "'But it's embarrasing,'" he read, "'to do it with so many guys aro--" He stopped. "Dood, you're a freakin' CAT. Just GO."
Kitty yowled in protest. But the prinny wouldn't listen, and just turned around to ignore her. Fine, be that way~ She headed back to Jennifer, who had decided to sit and wait. "Mew."
"Kitty?"
She pointed to another phrase. Jennifer was about to say it aloud, but she caught herself. Cover me. I'll get us out. "Guard, you promise you won't watch?" Jennifer asked. "I'll cover you, Kitty. Just in case. Don't worry." She eyed the guard suspiciously, and he caught her eyes and blushed.
"Dood, I'm not gonna watch!" He ordered the rest of the guards to turn around.
Jennifer ushered the helkat into a corner and croched close to her, doing her best to hide Kitty from view. She wasn't exactly sure what was going on - nor how Kitty would get help. In fact, all the kat did was study the cracks.
The human glanced back at the impatient prinny. Many of the guards were casting their own glances back at her. Jennifer quickly looked away. "Kitty, you should be done-- Kitty?"
All Jennifer saw was a puddle in the corner, and the tail end of a dark wisp that flowed through the cracks... Kitty was gone.
