Not so Freaking Good Start... (OPEN!!)

Mulando quickly withdrew the sword as he heard the booming voice. He turned around with a large grin on his face, awaiting to see a large beastly looking...thing. Or just a strong man. Rather, what he saw before him was a floating book. With a face. That looked like he was scowling at him.

"Talking...book?..." Mulando blinked, letting his sword's tip dig into the ground before him. He leaned his weight on top of the hilt of the sword, tilting his head to the side as he looked at the book. He had already lost intrest in the doghouse that had became his undoing, and was immediatly interested in this book.

"Hey, book! Do you know where I could score some cash? My sword's been itching for some real battle, and I haven't seen any in a while. Which reminds me; why're you so upset with what I did to this doghouse? It's just a simple doghouse, with no importance at all. It's so small, and brittle. Why, I bet I could probably demolish it with one good swing from my sword. So, Mister Book, do you know where I could find some work? Maybe I could do something for that Overlord Zetta guy I heard so much of! Though, I don't know what he'd be doing around this place..it seems so desolute."

Oblivious Mulando. Perhaps it was his ignorance that allowed him to live so long. Or maybe he was just too stupid to die.

[Mr Sinister]

A sweat drop came down upon Zetta's face. This guy hadn't heard of what happened to him, oh well he'll give him some insight. Yeah thats right im a talking book, you almost destroyed my house, its the only place I stay in now that ive been reduced to this damn state of being. If your looking for Zetta then look no further, your looking right at him kid. He said.

Mulando's eyes became huge white balls, as his mask fell off of his face, jaw dropped down. Astonished, he shook his head, and picked his mask back up, wrapping it around his lower face once again. His left hand went up to his head, rubbing his forehead. He right hand came under his chin, going into a clichéd thinking stance.

After a while, he put his left hand up, as if he were going to talk. But he stood there for another minute or so.

"Wait, so the greatest Overlord ever is..a book? Man, and here I was, hoping to get some mercenary work from a killing machine and I'm greeted by..a book. Then again, you're still a Overlord, aren't you? G'ah!!! This is hurting my head too much!!"

Pulling his sword out from the ground, he sheathed it back behind him, and sat down, looking up to the book. His head the turned to the side, staring at the doghouse. Then he went to look back at the book. And a small grin appeared on his face. "Wait; this means that your army probably abandoned you! Or were destroyed... either way, you'll probably be having a swarm of Overlord's coming here, vying for power, right? And you'll need some champion to rid them all for you, right? And uh..you still have treasure, right?! So HIRE ME! I'll even repair this doghouse for you! As soon as we can find some materials.."

He put both of his hands in front of himself, looking up to Zetta once more. "Overlord Zetta, I beg of you, let me work for you!"

Zetta's eyes became devious for a second, good good im one step closer to getting my body back. Well of course im still an overlord!!, see this is what happened.. he the explained the whole situation up to the present place in time. And thats the gist of it pretty much, so of course your hired! ahahahaha soon ill have my body back and show everyone why im the most badass freakin overlord around! he said laughing looking upward, his teeth sharp and full of arrogance.

"Good, good! Now I can start building up my rep! Uh..so whose first on our list?! Or do we play the waiting game.." Mulandos fingers were tense, and kept jittering all about the place. He felt the need to grab something and throw it, but the only things around were Zetta, the doghouse, and his sword. And he kind of needed all three.

"I guess in the meantime...hmn. Anyway for us to expland your netherworld? Should we gather an army, start raiding villages, push some nobles down and take their lunch money?" He placed his right index finger on his chin, tapping it ever so lightly, as if he were thinking up the greatest ideas ever told.

[Mr Sinister]

Zetta laughed at Mulando's ideas, he liked them. I didnt catch your name by the way? Well through the gate I hear there are some unruly demons that wont bow down to my new rule he said. He wasn't one to fight, especially in his current state, but this person would help. He did have one person under his hand but hoped there would be others. Gathering an army does sound good too he said snickering.

[Randy]

"Forgive me for that! I tend to get quite rash, hehehe." He rubbed the back of his head with a goofy grin on his face. With that same hand, he pulled back out his sword, raising it up to the heavens.

"I am the great swordsman, Mulando! Well, at least, that's what I wish to be called, one day. For now, I'm just a simple rogue, looking for work to improve his skills. The name Mulando still sticks, however!" He still had that goofy grin that stuck out through his mask, but he brought the sword down to his side, turning around.

"So, I guess I shall be off to teach these moronic demons a lesson or two! Uh...work on that army in the meantime, I suppose?! Or will you be coming?!!!" Excitment coarsed through his veins, a giddy look appearing on his face. Sweat dropped down his forehead, way too excited over the upcoming fights he knew he'd have to overcome.

Zetta looked at Mulando for a second, he blinked twice Uhh..well there's no point in staying here really, everyones gone and I cant really "work" on anything. he said looking around. He took a breathe, smiled showing his sharp teeth coming out from the bookWell it looks like im going! he said with a almost pleased look. He then floated to the gate. Alright I think its time to kick some demon ass! ahahahaha he said laughing as he entered the gate. He felt very arrogant even if he only had one person with him.

Perfect! I couldn't ask for a better job! Fame, here I come!!

Dashing after Zetta (though, Mulando wa much quicker than the floating book, he onlykept up behind Zetta just to not overpass him), Mulando leaped into the gate, sword still drawn. He made a show ofbeing transported to their next location, as if he were being torn apart from the inside, and then being put back together.

Or perhaps that was what was happening.

"Alright you lowly demon scum, show youselves!" Mulando hadn't even fully materialized, and he was already shouting out some non-sense. "Come to me, so that I may slay you with my sword! Haha!"

As soon as he was on the ground, Mulando was stabbing and slashing, with the most simple of skills and techniques. He awaited an encounter; if one didn't show up soon, he was bound to go after one of his own! (Most probably Don Quixote style).

The terrain was very simple, the ground was made of a light stone. The place they were on was a fairly large square, it was connected to a very bigger one that connected to another piece of land which erected a piece of land higher than that one. On that piece of land was a tent, a fire could be seen in the distance, as well as two bombers, each with there own bazooka.

Where the bridge was there were two wooden dolls, one with a shove, the other with an axe. Greeting them on there arrival was a tarman with a sword. The tarman looked over to them Who the hell are you?! get out of here this is our territory. Zetta angrily replied Im Overlord Zetta! and your going to bow down to me or die! he said.

The tarman, little as he was began to laugh hysterically Ahahahaha yeah right your just a dumb book, ill just rip out your chapters one by one he said. He then began to charge towards them sword in hand.
