Laharl's attention automaticaly snapped onto Etna like a guided missle. He stood straight up, and looked her in the eye. "Idiot, huh?! Just who do you think you are?!", Laharl yelled at her. In all actuality, Laharl was happy to see her. She, if nothing else, always made his rule interesting.
"Just where were you all day?! Me and my new servents already went dragon-hunting without you! Don't tell me you were sleeping this whole time!", Laharl said with a half-frown. "Well...whatever. I have a job for you. I want you to make sure that no one is let into the castle today. I've already had too many people barging in with no invitation.", Laharl explained to her. Maybe NOW he could get some peace and quiet.
He then walked back over to Tarein and the crying Kanako, and looked at them for a bit. He then looked at Etna and Flonne. "Hey. You two know these kids? I think they're lost.", he explained.

Tarein finally spoke up in one last unusual effort, fueled by her desire to go home. She took a deep breath in and shouted "Please Miss Angel, I need a way back to Earth, and I thought you might be able to help!" it all came out in one unusually clear sentence that sounded more like a really long word than an intelligent phrase.

Not a demon? Angels in the Netherworld was strange enough, but a human as well? Jack scratched his head as he processed this information. The Human World was hardly blessed with powerful magicians, someone sending humans from there seemed unnatural. Why would someone bring a human here?
"One of the kids is human, that's rather strange."
Then another demon appeared, which appeared to be another vassal of Laharl. She'd probably be allright when she grew up some more, but that's a topic for another day. Jack turned to the children, then back to Laharl, "What's done is done, who cares who ate the pudding? I'll just go get some more."
Jack paused, "What kind was it anyway?"

Pringles was stunned. Although if it was because the fear from hearing Etna's voice or the fact that Mid boss was standing in plain view outside the castle gates he couldn't tell.
"Step aside young warrior I have no business with you, I the dark adonis have matters to attend inside this place." Vyers stated faking arrogance like always.
"Why the hell should I? you didn't beat me back at the graveyard so what makes you think you'll beat the brat?" the red eyed warrior replied with force in his voice.
"Simply because you said pringles. Laharl hasn't surpassed his father yet." Vyers whispered his reply stopping Pringles cold.
The warrior's eyes snapped wide open and he stood in shock as Mid boss passed him and strolled into the castle. "How does he...know my name?" Pringles exhaled hitting his knees.
Kanako peaked out from over Flonne's shoulder at Etna. "Ohguu? Nyah!" she cried trying to be brave and put on a happy face as the puppet returned.
Alz appeared beside Laharl and the group. "...Kanako" the ghost echoed pointing to the kitty hatted girl as he floated over to her taking her off of Flonne's back and handing the blue eyed demon some craft supplies he'd found.
Kanako looked at the colorful mess of fabric and things with bright eyes then began to start making another puppet.
Lucretia stepped over to the prince and crouched down to speak to him at eye level. "Prince if I may. They are just children and it would seem that like myself that girl is possessed, most likely by the lord of terror's minions as I was before you sealed it. Wouldn't it be better to keep an eye on the two of them so that Baal's minions do not lay hands on them and possibly release the dread lord?"
Flonne nodded. She wasn't sure about the lord of terror but she knew that a couple of kids were harmless and they both looked as if they needed a bath. "You want to go to earth huh? Well...I can cerntanly see what I can do about it. Although I can't promise anything as I'm not as powerful masters lammington or vancanus" the blue eyed angel spoke gently.

Being as young as she was, Tarein took this news as 'Yes, I'll be able to send you home.'
"Th-thank you..." she returned to her usual quiet self, surprised herself at how much attention she pulled "Thank you... so much Miss Angel!" she moved forward and hugged Flonne the best she could from that close to the floor.

Laharl rolled his eyes at Lucretia. Yeah, yeah, he'd head of this "Baal" fellow, and how he was supposedly the killer of Overlords and all that happy stuff. "I don't care if these kids stay here for a while, but that Baal stuff you're talking about is complete garbage. If Baal were as powerful as everyone says he is, then why hasn't he challenged me yet? Obviously because he's afraid of my great and terrible power, that's why!", Laharl said to her.
He then looked at Tarein, ignoring the random ghost completely. He sighed when he looked at her, and shook his head. "Hey human. Tell me something...you know an idiot named Gordon? Or Jennifer?", Lahalr asked her.

Tarein turned her head back to Laharl, still somewhat reluctant to be near him. "Umm, I-I've heard of them... I don't know them... though..." she moved around and hid partway behind Flonne.

Jack turned to Laharl, "There are more humans in the Netherworld? What's the occassion? I can't imagine so many being here without a good reason."
To Jack, it appeared that he sided with the right faction at the right time. Laharl had ample power, and it looked like the tides would become far more wild and chaotic before this story was over. Jack sighed, for he doubted he'd have much free time to goof around.

Alexa groggily sat up. Judging by the pain in her head she had hit it against the dragon when used her Winged Slayer attack. Though she was disappointed in how horrible knocking yourself out in battle is she had other things to worry about. She looked down at she shoulder to realize that it was still burned and her hair was still torched.
"Great they couldn't even heal me while I was asleep..." Alexa moaned. She looked around and realized that she was back in Laharl's castle, one of her least favorite places, but everyone was there. Though when she looked around she did not recognize half of the people in the room...
"So how long have I been out?" Alexa asked Jack.

Mortamor grew closer and closer with each passing moment. The winds howled as they continued to ride forward. A dense fog surrounded them, this was common to happen in the netherworld, atmosphere changing. It didnt matter to them though. Mortamor sored higher to get out of it and have a clear view. How much longer? Reiko asked. Im not sure but a little further he said.
The continued to fly straight ahead, the atmosphere going from dense fog to a heated land. In the midst there was a huge castle. Mortamors eyes widened in excitement, he let out a ferocious roar to alert Reiko who was meditating on his back. He stood up and nodded in the direction of the castle. They arrived, flying towards the castle they awaited to get closer.
