The power of a prinny hero ain't much dood [Open]

"Doods are you kidding me? You bring me all the way here and don't tell me Etna is out. Now just am I supposed to do" Pringles blurted loudly flailing his arms.

"Hey dood what master Etna does is beyond our control you know that, besides dood you're just hungry. here have some Prinny juice dude" Twinkle waved off his statement while handing him a juice box.

"Fine!" the red eyed warrior exclaimed in a grumpy tone as he snatched the box up and leaned against the wall resting one of his arms behind his head.

"Dood I know master Etna always gave you your job before but now you can work for anyone and you'll get paid more then us" aros stated matter of factly.

Pringles nodded, one thing he had learned was the stronger you were the more you got paid even if you only looked stronger. the red eyed warrior smiled and turned toward the counter area where the weapons shop guy for that something queen store was but had forgotten that his legs were no longer pegs and quickly tripped pitching his juice box into the owners face and his own face into the counter area knocking him backward into an empty barrel.

once Pringles regained his senses he figured that the prinnies had bailed and that it may have had something to do with the red faced guy standing over him.

before he could manage a single word Pringles found himself at the bottom of a flight of stairs still in the barrel feeling mighty sick, as he climbed out of the wooden vehicle he stumbled toward the wall and promptly threw up.

unfortunately he managed with his blurred vision to hit the dead center of someone's shoes and was sent to meet the opposing wall at a remarkable speed. Pringles vision blurred in and out as he tried to stand up finally giving up as his his feet refused to balance.

"Dood weak! I never had this many problems before...I wish Etna was here dood" the black haired warrior exclaimed trying to calm his body's shaking.

"Wow, d00d. You really just got your ass kicked by someone, huh d00d?"

It wasen't every day that someone got slammed into the wall right next to you as soon as you opened the door to the Overlord's castle. That usually only happened on Monday. Gin walked up to the sorry-looking black-haired warrior, and sighed. "If I were you, I'd go find that guy and give him a piece of my mind...or maybe in your case, I would run away, d00d."

After saying those words, Gin turned to his two other comrades Jack and Alexa. "Finally, we're here, d00d. This is the entrence hall, so go ahead and look around, d00d. I don't know if the prince is in, but I'll let him know of your presence as soon as I can, d00d."

Gin turned to walk away, but then realised that he'd never even met this warrior before. I guess it's good that Gin isn't on security duty. He turned and looked at the downed warrior again, and walked over to him. "Hey, d00d. You got permission to be here, d00d? I don't wanna have to clean your broken ass off the floor when an angry Laharl gets his hands on you for braking in, d00d."

Alexa had never been in a place this grand before...Her humble upbringings seemed to rush into her mind and she suddenly felt very out of place. Alexa folded her arms into her cloak and looked around timidly.

She plainly saw the warrior on the floor but she could not seemed to bring herself to his aid. Her sense of justice and the code that she lived her life by seemed to not longer matter to her. She did not like this place. It was far to large but at the same time far to confining for her. She felt as if she had lived her whole life in a castle and now been thrown into a small shack instead of the other way around...

"Gin... Is there a courtyard that I may go to as I wait for Laharl?" Alexa hoped her anxiety was not to obvious as she spoke.

(Well, I guess I'm Laharl now. I should get to work on posting as him.)

"You don't have to wait any longer. I'm right here."

The arrogant young demon prince that we all know and love (or hate), Laharl, stepped into the entrence hall from the door opposing the main door. As he slammed the door behind him, a gush of wind from the huge door blew his scarf into the air, and accidently knocked over a small vase, making it smash onto the cold stone floor below. He blinked at the broken vase, but didn't pay it any mind after that. There were a few "visitors" he had to attend to.

"Behold! It is I, the Great Overlord Laharl! Tremble before my truly magnific-...."

Wait a second. Who the hell WERE these people? Friends of Flonne's...? Nah, one was a prinny. The girl and the cleric looked pretty clueless, too. Laharl didn't even acknowledge the downed warrior who was sprawled out on his floor.

"I don't remember throwing a party, so what the hell do you people need? Either speak now, or I'll have to throw all of your asses out. The HARD way.", Laharl spat at the four unfamilar demons in front of him. Dammit. Everytime Laharl just wanted to relax for a day, someone always barged in either demanding a fight or some kind of favor. Normally he'd just have Zommie or one of his other vassals throw them out, but he was in a curious mood today. Maybe this could be interesting.

Gin watched as Laharl slammed the door, and knew that his goose was cooked. After being away for so long, (and with him being the only green prinny and all) Laharl would probably report him to Etna for slacking. And THEN...whoooo boy would he get a beating. Perhaps Gin was being paranoid, but for good measure he hid behind Alexa's back.

Pringles breathed a sigh. //if I really am some sort of hero lets just see how far a have to go// the red eyed warrior thought as he leapt to his feet bring his sword down toward Laharl's head knowing full well the prince could and likely would stop it.

"OVERLORD HA! I was there to watch you fight and I'm still not convinced. You have no idea how to be an overlord, you're a brat and a waste of space. Your daddy was better and the way you are going you'll be nothing but a punk if keep it up!" Pringles roared as a smile formed on his lips. he knew what he had just started was full well something he couldn't finish.

That however was his style, all or nothing and when you went out it had better have been with a big bang.

Wow... the shogun thought. Though this boy is stronger than I am he does not seem to be what I expected... As opposed to the big, power hungry man that she expected this Laharl was a, not as big, power hungry boy. Though he was an overlord she felt that he would not be like his father...She could not explain this feeling though is was just something she felt in her gut...

The warrior on the ground jumped to his feet, in what Alexa could tell was an attempt at grace. He leaped into the air and attacked the overlord.

CLANG!!!! The red edge of Eclipse cast an eerie light on that ground as he blocked the warrior's attack. "You should not attack an enemy that does not have their weapon drawn." She said decisively.

Pringles snapped his eyes to the owner of the defending blade. "Yeah maybe your right but I think Laharl would agree that he doesn't need help to fight and any demon that does ought be beaten with a blunt object till they learn better, besides I know the brat is fast enough to block that kind of swing." the red eyed warrior announced with a smile clearing his throat.

"You young lady have alot to learn about the prince's abilities." Pringles stated jumping back to the wall. "If I had the power to even come close to killing Laharl I'd have done it long before you got here, I think I aside from Etna I might be the only one of the king's vassals still willing to fight on the battlefield for the prince."

Pringles put his sword at his side and bowed gracefully, taking a knee with a mysterious grin he spoke again "I am at your service my prince. As I was your father's Vassal I'm am yours. Your orders?"

//damn I couldn't even lock swords with him much less beat him. I have a long way to go but they're depending on me...just for now Pringles then I'll save them// the red eyed warrior thought sadly as he awaited the very real possibility of facing the prince's wrath.

As Laharl finished his sentence, he saw the neglected warrior in the corner run towards him and pull out a sword. He sighed, as if bored. Typical. Oh well...a good Hurricane Slash would put him in his place anyways. He waited until the warrior jumped into the air; when he was most vulerable. He went to go for his sword...and CLANG!!

Laharl raised an eyebrow at the shogun in front of him, blocking the warrior's sword with her own. Huh. That's odd. Normally, any half-minded demon knew that if someone was idiotic enough to attack first, to not get in the way. That way, the enemy was softened up for you to take out. He took his hand off of his sword, and looked at the girl. "...so, you think you saved me, huh? I'm supposing you want a favor of me if you're willing to throw your life away for me. Not that this idiot was a threat anyways.", he finished, making a motion to the warrior.

He then turned his attention to the warrior, and sighed. Either this guy was a coward, or he was just a plain fool. "Get up, dumbass. I don't need all your chivelry crap, and I sure as hell don't need another vassal! You think just because you had the false courage to attack me, you think you can do whatever you please? HA!!"

He took a step toward the Gin, and Gin instantly started sweating. A...green prinny? The last time he was a miscolored prinny, other than Big Sis Prinny, it was Kurtis. And that was a while ago. "Hey you prinny." Gin froze in terror...somewhat.

"You belong to Etna?
"...y-yes, my lord."
"Huh. Well, any vassal of Etna's is MY vassal as well. Clean up this vase and get inside. You've got work to do."

Laharl turned back to the Shogun and the Warrior. "Now...you two needed something? I don't have all day."

"Me? Throw away my life for you?" Alexa asked defiantly. "I would not give my life for anyone overlord. If my life was actually at risk from this warriors attack my actions would have been very different. And no I do not think that this warrior would have even been able to scratch you since it was so easy for me to stop him and you are with out a doubt stronger than I am."


Alexa let her words sink in for a moment. Then sheathed her sword and stepped back. Bowing to Laharl she said, "I did not mean to insult your power overlord. I was merely acting out of the code that I follow. I have recently finished my training as a shogun and met Gin and the cleric on my journey and accompanied them here. I am not seeking anything from you overlord."

With that Alexa stood back up, crossed her arms in the sleeves of you clothing, and stepped back. As she retreated the size of the castle once again took its toll on her and she once again began to struggle to keep her composure.

Pringles stood up slowly and stepped over to the vase. "Very well Prince if your order is as simple as don't follow your orders then I shall do as I wish." the red eyed warrior spoke up pausing for just a second before continuing.

"As I said however while you are a strong demon and hold the title you have a long way to go before you're a real overlord. It's more then power it's strategy, take that one for example" Pringles pointed to the Shogun as he scooped up the broken bits of the vase.

"In the human world such as her are valued for their dedication and loyalty. Such are hard to find and while I'm sure Etna and Flonne are fine servants it seems like most they would kill you without a second thought if it got them something they wanted." Pringles turned away laughing slightly.

smiling dryly Pringles headed to the waste area keeping an ear open and an arm ready in case the prince's temper got the best of him.
